Dev wants Sona to be part of each everything of his family. He has already considered her as his partner. He is right "only rituals needs to be done" Sona and Dev have already accepted each other. Dev's family member's was just being selfish not to understand needs of Dev. Especially someone who has practically lived all of his life till date for them. Just to fulfil their dreams by not even thinking once before sacrificing himself. Can't they all do the same for him once. Absolutely no one seemed to be excited for Dev in the family. All so thanda reaction even from sister's for Dev-Sona relation, not cool.

Ishwari well she was not ready for Dev's marriage before (saloni) or middle (award ceremony) or now (Sona). In reality she never wanted Dev to pay even a tiny miny attention to anyone other than her. She gets jealous and boy when a mother gets jealous (even before marriage) with son's GF, than something is definitely wrong with the mother. Dev ko sabse pehle kaala teeka uski maa ki nazar se bachane ke liye lagana chahiye, the way she was looking at him when he talked about how happy he was with Sona or the way she looked at him when he was looking at the family photographs, I got chills.

During Neha marriage Dev completely accepted as sona as his life partner and he doesnt care abt other views when his mom has accepted his relation and he thinks getting his mom approval means ishwari also accepted sona as a part family. All the remaining rituals are name sake just to make the whole world knew that Dev got married to sona. After Neha marriage he never differentiated him and sona he treated they both are one. Sona has become a part of himself than y can't he include her in a family pic and Dev didn't say sona is his gf to his sis so through this family pic he wanted to make the rest of family knew abt his relation. Dev knew ishwari possessiveness towards him, he treats that as ishwari love towards him but never seen as a defect or fault like his sister. He is purely innocent he cannot even neg abt others for ex in Gujral issue due to natasha Gud nature he bared a huge Amount of loss . It's others who are always afraid of ishwari possessiveness and not even giving a chance to change her behavior it just like everyone want Dev life partner sona should not get affected like them. Kahi na kahi ishwari riya Neha Nikki Ka dil dukhaya Dev ke liye and they knew the pain of it and they doesn't want that pain to be faced by sona.

For me Ishwari is wrong.During courtship period.I have seen families treating guy or girl as their part of family.Make them feel that they r part of their family.Eagerly looking forward them to become officially part of their family.Due to Ishwari insecurity she is not wholeheartedly accepting Sona.

When Ranveer came to Dixit's house to say that he has accepted the job offer. Ishwari was so happy for the relation.First word Dev said was welcome to the family.He considered Ranveer as also family before any rituals.Hypocrite Ishwari had no issue.But now when he is doing the same with Sona.Before rituals he consider as her family.Ishwari has issue.

In modern days this is too common there is nothing wrong on dev's part ...just a family pic what big deal..y ishwari has to react so much...even mamaji was starring in the precap

He does not want to hide anything anymore.. He wants to be as open as possible, even to the extent of throwing caution to the winds. He just does not want to hide anything anymore, especially from his mom.

As it gets revealed in subsequent episodes or maybe even tomorrow, he tells his mom... Only the rituals are to be completed. Very deep meaning. The guy is already married to Sona in his heart and mind...

Sona is his family - now, not later.

exactly that's what I felt.dev is not wrong.ishawri is insecure and she does need reasons to be like that..it's her personality now and If not this .other thing would make her insecure or upset.you see what you want to see..unless she works genuinely on her insecurities and get hapoy for own son..nothing can make her happy.dev has been like that..with Natasha too he was spending time,going on dates and all..so after confession to mommy he does not feel need to be extremely cautious or pretend .family pic is all about how your big heart is.even officially mamaji and family should not come in family picture but they are ..and sona is there how awkward would it be to take a pic without her..so if it's only about customs and rituals then obviously you are leaving giving importance to society more than your heart and feeling..and it was just in house..so it's all about people's unacceptance towards sona .nothing wrong about timing and all..if I had been mother in place of ishwari..I would have asked my son to bring sona for family pic.as I can see how hapoy my son after ages and what she mean to him.whole family can give him even small reasons to smile then what's the use

I wish CV's make Dev ask the photo studio to make a frame of the family pic in which Sona is there.Keep it in his room or in his office table.

You put it spot on ! It's a conundrum : you feel each one is neither right nor totally wrong.

I feel if these situations happened without that tension BG music it wouldn't feel like such an issue. 😆

Ishwari was having trouble accepting a new entry in Dev's life: Sonakshi. But she sees how happy Dev is, and how she can see how much her acceptance of Sona is important to him. She is trying, but she isn't very good yet in managing her possessive nature over her son.

Even her daughters learned to step back and be second, third and fourth, when it comes to Dev. That scene with Riya was very poignant for me. She knows and acknowledges that their Mum will and always put Dev above all of the girls. The fact Ishwari didn't even bother saying "No, my dear, all of you are dear to me equally. Just that I don't see much of Dev, is all.." That bugs me.

Sonakshi is so stuck in that uncomfortable situation. She should have insisted that they go shopping together minus her. It was too much too soon. Sona already has Dev in her pockets (😆), she can afford to give Ishwari the feeling that she still has her laadla Dev like normally.

Sona needs to back off. From these shopping excursions, and from family photos. if she wants a harmonious married life later, i mean.

What i am saying is not true for all. Depends on the mother. Lots of mothers are super friendly and inclusive to girlfriends from the get go, more so if she likes the girl a lot. But Ishwari is NOT like that. She needs to not give Dev everything he wants, just because he asks so adorably. *sigh*

I'm all for Sona and Dev, but these shopping trips and family photo inclusions, for Ishwari is too much too soon. And it does not take away anything from Sona, but a lot from Ishwari. Some diplomacy must be there also , na?

The was Dev is behaving with Sona, he needs to be married stat !
