Well.. till this episode I was going like why is Ishwari Aunty reacting too much n all that ..but actually after today's episode I don't know if she is completely wrong.
I mean if u see the precap, I find it difficult to make out whether Ishwari is wrong or not Or Dev did the right calling Sona for the picture or not.

What do you ppl think? I feel none of them is absolutely wrong or absolutely right.
Dunno.

only person I see wrong here is Dev's ex (oops mom). she is again hiding her true feelings from her honest, straightforward son who has never cared for traditions or rituals. dev is feeling that mom xpts his decisions and is happy for his biggest happiness. and Ishwari is lying and doing more drama.. about how she really feels. poor Sona.. as girls often do.. will bear the brunt of both of their actions😡

Dev is wrong. Sona will be included in family picture only after marriage...

If he wants he could take casual pics with sona and hang them in his bedroom but she should not be in official family pic. I understand dev is serious abt sona and all.. But come on how many marriages dont happen and end at their current state.::

Also it is a current fanily pic ... Not a projected family pic... Dev is all happpy and enthu - i can understand. But he shud listen to sona in such matters and not force her to do things that she doesnt approve using her intuition

It is all about perspective. Dev has seen how bizarre his mom was behaving when he hid the truth about his love from his mom. He broke down remember?
He does not want to hide anything anymore.. He wants to be as open as possible, even to the extent of throwing caution to the winds. He just does not want to hide anything anymore, especially from his mom.

Also, let us not forget the fact, like the rest of the Dixit family, that Dev is a leading business man, the 'tree' under which so many people take refuge... He has to be respected.. His feelings in particular.. If he wants Sona in the picture, he is damn right. He has earned this right by sacrificing, working and coming up the hard way. He even gave shelter to Mamaji and family when GKB burnt down her own house...

He has never asked anything for himself ever... In his own words. He just wants Sona. Completely fair. It is not about current or prospective. For him Sona is already part of him.. In the purest form of love. Remember he took the marriage vows during Neha's marriage... He is just being faithful.

The problem is with the rest. They just do not see that he has never done anything for himself or want anything for himself. If he wants Sona in the picture, there must be a reason... As it gets revealed in subsequent episodes or maybe even tomorrow, he tells his mom... Only the rituals are to be completed. Very deep meaning. The guy is already married to Sona in his heart and mind...

Sona is his family - now, not later.

I don't think Ishwariji is wrong. I mean she needs a little more time to adjust to this new fact. And moreover, Sonakshi is not yet married to her son hence according to Ishwariji Sonakshi is not a member of the family. So her not wanting Sonakshi in the family photo is fine

Well, Dev, I feel is rushing a little bit here. Of course he's in love & just not realising that Sonakshi needs to be accepted by his family first, socially. His confidence or should I say over confidence on his Mother's love for him is just not letting him handle the situation properly. He's not even addressing Sonakshi's uncomfortableness & just brushing it aside. He's just failing to see that his Mother is actually not happy with his decision as for Dev, it's unthinkable. So I can't blame him for ignoring the fact as he's not at all aware of his Mother's true colour.

Both I feel are right on their own way. Honestly can't point my finger on one.

I think even if Sonakshi is not yet married to Dev, it doesn''t matter. She is going to be part of the family. If mine inlaws before marriage would refuse me in fam picture, I would feel bad. It''s like they did not accept me yet. And here Ishwari claims to have accepted Sona...Then whats wrong to take her in fam picture?
even some marriage break, so Maybe they should not have taken ranveer in the picture because marriage can also break? And Sonakshi is officialy Dev''s girlfriend now and they do have marriage plans...

Maybe because they have not officialy are engaged she doesn' t want Sonakshi in fam picture. For me it feels not good.

I find it wrong too, and I'm quiet sure Sona also does. The problem with Dev is that he's 'too-in-love' at the moment so he won't realise it.
