This was an article I found on Twitter & then went on FB to check the actual FB post. Some fans criticised poor Sana for having her on screen sindoor on even after the shoot. Sana then gave a response.

I found the entire thing silly & over the top from the fans.

Have a look at the article: http://www.pinkvilla.com/tv/news-gossip/359617/fans-bash-sana-amin-sheikh-applying-vermilion-despite-being-muslim-sana-nails

Saw her interview on Ibn7. This kind of mentality among so called fans is so disturbing. This is precisely what pulls us back from being a great nation. Religious zealots like them need to be shut up and Sana did that with much class. It's shocking to see people saying 'sindoor' can send you to hell. So what about some Hindu women who apply sindoor daily? Are their heaven and hell different from Muslims'? Religion is a personal thing and nobody has the right to decide or comment on another person's choices. What Sana did was brave and praiseworthy. I applaud her 👏and I am proud of her.

Kudos to Sana. The mere fact that these apparently ardent religion followers are on the internet in the hope of dissuading others to do as they so please despite the fact that it is not harming anyone, goes to show their interest lay in the hope of restricting people in doing as they so please. If one was truly a true religion follower, then surely as elegantly put by Sana, they will not be active on social media and they definitely will not be bashing individuals telling them they will be going to hell.

Sana is an actress who has to portray a different character onscreen which requires her to be Hindu. Nothing wrong in that because INTELLIGENT individuals can differentiate between REAL and REEL. Morons ought to live and let live.

If they are so passionate about preaching, go and do something productive instead of insulting/bashing/abusive individuals with no sound reasons.
