These are the Basu Chatterjee movies I watched. Liked almost all of them... Piya Ka Ghar, Rajnigandha, Chitchor, Chhoti Si Baat, Khatta Meetha, Baton Baton Mein , Manzil (Copied Mrinal Sen's Akash Kusum), Shaukeen, Chameli Ki Shaadi , Sheesha, Hothat Brishti (Remake of Kadhal Kottai)

Others.. may be I watched but never bothered to know who made them.

Some of these movies had great songs.

Liked Chhoti Si Baat, CHameli ki Shaadi, and Sheesha the most.

My favorite is Khatta Meetha, really hilarious movie, Ashok Kumar and Pearl Padamsee were adorable as the aging Parsi widow and widower who decide to get married and combine their brood of kids!😆

From this list, my favs are Chitchor and Chhoti Si Baat.

Amol Palekar was the common man hero!

Some of his scenes/dialogues were repetitive but still I loved him.. when shabana's dad before dying says to her that he is the one fr you even though he knew she liked Sm1 else, he said it with so much confidence like he just knew.. I don't know how to explain it lol 😆 but I raised my eyebrows thinking that the guy must be something and he was..
