TOI:Playing Vibhishan in SKR gives me a different high: Sailesh Gulaba

Actor Sailesh Gulabani is a popular face on television and in the past one decade he has done shows like Kavyanjali, Bandini, Ladies Special, Jeevan Sathi, Tamanna to name a few. Recently, for the first time he accepted something which he never attempted in his career. Shailesh is currently playing the character of Vibhishan on popular show Siya Ke Ram.

Talking more on his role and experience Sailesh says, "I have never done a mythological show in my career of more then a decade, for me as an actor it is necessary to do everything and explore myself. So what better than getting it on the channel like Star Plus and working for Triangle films who are very good in making mythological shows."

Sailesh adds,"Playing Vibhishan, who is one of the very strong characters in Ramayan is an opportunity. It takes me around 30 minutes to get inside the skin of Vibhishan."

Talking about Vibhishan's ideology Shailesh adds, "I definitely agree to his ideology, because no matter what, he sticked to his ways of life of not doing anything wrong. But what is sad is people still consider him as a traitor."

Initially it was tough for Shailesh to get the mythology language properly as he adds,"I am learning as the language we speak is not that easy. It gives me a different high to play such a legendary character.

I am liking him very much as Vibhishan :))
