Regarding this particular sentence, I'd like to expand on this -
Argument - Kaurvaki didn't know Bella would have committed suicide otherwise she wouldn't have let her do this.
Rebuttal - No, that lacks immense afterthought. Bella's death was certain either way - there was no escape. If she didn't commit suicide, Jagganath would have killed her, or thrown her in prison, or even sold in the market (since Bella was just a servant, she wasn't an important person). The only reason she committed suicide was to essentially "free" Kaurvaki from Jagganath's control and give her all the time in the world to find Ashok. If Jagganath discovered the truth, he would be hunting for Kaurvaki once more.
Counter Argument - Still, Kaurvaki can't be blamed for someone else's actions. Bella died with her own wishes.
Rebuttal: True, but who pushed Bella to that level? Kaurvaki did with her "never show me your face again; you betrayed me; blah blah blah." She basically broke her friendship with her BFF because Bella was scared of what Jagganath would do to her.
Counter Argument - In that case, isn't Jagganath the main person responsible and not Kaurvaki?
Rebuttal: Not necessarily. Kaurvaki knows what her father was like - he wasn't a huge, stuffed, cuddly teddy bear that would just go on happily with life - but she still left Bella alone. If Bella didn't kill herself, she would have been caught easily. There isn't any what ifs, perhaps, maybes that can be used. There were two roads for Bella and they were death.
Counter Argument - Maybe Kaurvaki thought her father would forgive Bella?
Rebuttal: Okay, but why would he do that? He had been tracking Kaurvaki for weeks, he found Kaurvaki's plan was to find Ashok, he doesn't like Mauryans and doesn't want to be related to them, there is absolutely no possibility of him forgiving Bella for aiding Kaurvaki in running away once more.
Counter Argument - Maybe it was just a daughter's feeling then? Kaurvaki saw Jagganath in that particular light.
Rebuttal: Nope. If this was the case, she wouldn't have a need to run away to meet Ashok.
Final Verdict - Kaurvaki is GUILTY - Case Closed
