You've summed up Anika and Shivaay very perfectly. They're people who believe in having a purpose in life and know that there's a lot riding on them so they just can't afford to be weak - at least not in front of anyone.

Exactly! It's just that right now, neither is thinking of love, esp Annika. She needs to fight for custody of Sahil, a daunting task given that she is a single girl with no job or prospects. How will the court award guardianship? I think she'll get Shivaay to help her with that in exchange for his SD card.

Nakul has very expressive eyes, I bet he'd slay the scenes where he starts to understand her whole miserable life and her troubles. But we have a ways to go yet for that 😆.. they're still busy locking horns. ..

The epi where Anika broke down on the street, howling in grief is something that I just can't forget. She carries a lot within her.

It was a very powerful scene that she smashed. The desperation and sheer hopelessness of her situation reached out and clawed at me. Thankfully Sahil is there, or she would probably have given up.

Similarly, Shivaay has this void in his heart due to the money-mindedness of his mother and the selfish elders of his family. His pain was evident when he mocked love in his conversation with Om.

There were streaks of sensitivity in his eyes when he argued with Om. " you know what our parents are like ?! And you still speak of Love and such things? "

All Oberoi boys (save for Rudra who's immune to all negativity ) have seen and experienced the volcanic drama that is their parents, and in their own different ways have been affected.

You saw what happened when he ended up hurt. The whole house fell apart. He is the magnet keeping that house together, much like a nucleus at the center of an atom, around which electrons and protons orbit around.

A huge responsibility for a young man, and he feels has no time for personal things like love...

They're two very different people in that one is crazy, the other is in control - yet there couldn't be two people more similar in the way they go about in life with regards to beating all odds and always emerging victorious and going to any lengths to reach there.

You said it perfectly. So different yet so similar. 👏

I find Rudra ridiculously cute and Omkara, well, he's the kind of guy who effortlessly carves a place for himself in everyone's heart. As to Shivaay, despite being the cliched Gul lead that he is, he does have appeal.

Rudra has a rare comic charm and carries it off well. Omkara is enigmatic and charismatic, a poet like serenity that makes the heart flutter. There's a lot of contention as to who would be perfect as his love interest. The Omkara deewanis are very protective of him, and want the best... I'd love to see angst , Om seems so made for it, sparkling eyes that change with different emotions... (do I sound mad yet?)

Shivaay will grow on me, he's getting there. He's still that gruff overbearing Badi Bhaiyya who tells everybody what to do for me..😆

After watching yesterday's precap, I'm wondering how will Annika manage to get Sahil's custody. If the video has indeed been leaked and that is what Shivaay was furious about, then it leaves nothing in Annika's hands to negotiate with him. So I don't really know how will she manage to get Sahil's custody.

I've loved Nakuul in his previous show too! His eyes are indeed expressive. I was inclined towards this show especially because of Nakuul, and now, I love all the three boys.

I'm so sure that Nakuul playing Shivaay in those intense scenes will ooze oomph! Can't wait for these two to start getting attracted to each other. But like you said, there's a lot that they will have to put beyond them before they get there. If Shivaay were to indeed help Annika with Sahil's custody, despite everything that has passed between them until now, she would soften towards him.

We also saw his caring nature when he gently eased Annika on the bed after she fainted. For once, he didn't just dump her. When he was holding her in his arms, it felt as if he sensed her vulnerability.

Except for his siblings and his grandmother, whenever he is with others, he locks up all his emotions in a chest and guards them in the fortress of responsibility. That responsibility doesn't let him think beyond that and about himself.

Omkara, yes, I do want angst between him and his lady love. The kind of angst we see between Shivaay and Annika will be different from what we see between Omkara and his lady so it will be a delight to watch!

Despite Tej, because Shivaay is the whole and sole of the Oberoi empire and the kind of mess that his family is, he can't help but be gruff and overbearing. But inside, we know what a softie he is. I know, I know, I am defending him. 😆

On a side note, do you like the BG for Shivaay and Annika? I find it hilarious whenever they play it - especially when I hear, "...tu hain mere jeene ki wajah..." I mean, they can't stop throwing daggers at each other and there's this BG playing in their scenes. Makes me laugh out loud! 🤣

At this stage of their relationship, this BG on their scenes seems very out of place. However, seeing their characters and personality traits, once they do start falling for each other, the BG will be perfect for them.
