Aarfa was so underdeveloped from all the reviews. The heroines lost out on nothing. Only benefit of doing this movie: salman fans will automatically be your fans.

how has SK movies helped anyone in the recent times?

Last it helped someone's career was Dabangg and that was in 2010.

From what I have been reading, the role is of a strong wrestler whose lifelong dream is to win a medal and then she marries and promptly gets pregnant and hangs up the dream like the adarsh patni

Compare that with a Rani in Queen or Piku in Piku.

Why would anyone who have done those kind of role be wanting to do this one?

Good that Anushka will have a BB and whatnot and critics praise, but how is it bad for others?

Not everyone has to like or what the same thing all the time?

ETA: Just realised Anu has the rare distinction to be the heroine of all 3 khans. I cannot remember anyone else from today's time barring Kareena ( well she is a industry kid so she probably had different lobby tactics)

i have watched the movie and aarfa was a half baked one dimensional role..nothing so glorious about it

yes if you have standard of an actress in a salman movie to be the likes of jacki in kick or daisy in jai ho.it is a brilliant role and act

aarfa in sultan was what marykom's husband was in marykom..a strong person supporting marykom in her struggles and how their relation goes through ups and downs through her boxing career and struggles..it was nothing more than a side kick..it was all about sultan from start to end!

so hard kuck to those actresses who have title roles in their movies and also have a good run at the BO? err..no again

Kat has worked with all the Khans too. I don't know why working with all the Khans is a big deal.

@Lead: That is true she and Kat have worked with all 3 Khans. But those movies didn't really do much. Only PK and I guess Rab Ne did. JTHJ was a massive disaster. But I think Adi was running out of options and she did it out of loyalty. B/c literally ever mainstream actress said no to it.

Sonam was best for Sallu fans.. and Perfect as Maithili. And now, Anu is Perfect as Aarfa. 😉 Next, They will be riding Chinese horse in coming days. 😆

What's knew. There was article when Anu initially rejected Sultan - they all bashed her. When she accepted - they are like.. she is best since sliced bread.

No heroine should ever take Khan Uncle's fans' support seriously. They ping pong easily. 😛

Not agreeing with them. But I personally feel Anu suits character of Aarfa from whatever I have seen. And she is one fine actress. No need to compare her to DP, Kangu. She has her own place. I really don't see her going after No. 1 position. She is happy in what she does. And to me, she is doing damm awesome job at that.

That being said, whoever rejected Sultan, didn't lose anything. Role usi ka jo use karta hai. No if or but about it.

😆 Nope, none of the heroines lost out on anything. DP, Kangana, Alia are doing and have done far more stronger and meaningful roles. They dont need this anymore. PC has already done Mary Kom so she wont be interested. Rest all are doing fine and seeing the backlash, they are saved. Only Jacquelene, Kriti, Yami, Ilena may have become Salman's heroine😆

Katrina has worked with ALL Leading Khans and with good roles except with perhaps AK in D3.
