First of all...amazing movie!!👏

There was so much drama over the casting of the heroine for Sultan...from the usual news of Deepika "rejecting" it like every movie...and then Kangana unable to do it coz of date clash...etc etc

And then Ali abbas zadar was criticized when he said 'Anushka was my choice'...when he explained why Anushka was cast over other actresses such as Parineeti

Just want to say the correct person was cast...Anushka is also lucky to have bagged this movie and on the flip side the movie benefited by having a strong actress play Aarfa...there are similarities between Aarfa n real life Anushka...

if you watch the film you can see it is doubtful parineeti could have done it anushka is a perfect fit

Anushka was perfect in the role.
I doubt anyone from the younger lot could have done justice to the role given it was a small role but a very powerful role.
Plus no one will be madly in love for Parineeti come on.

ofcourse they have their own careers..but it doesnt happen often when a heroine is in a khan movie n has a decent role..and the movie ends up being like by critics n audience both! why wud anyone not want all this?

If u are talking about Kangna and DP...they are no newbies...DP is the #1 right now...and Kangna is a 3 time National award winner...what could have Sultan done for them...that they don't have already...but yeah if u are talking about the velli Parineeti...yes I agree she would have benefited from it...but DP and Kangna...please...😳

the director has done a couple of interviews with anushka n from those it's clear he really gets along with her...he even said if she wasnt an actress she wud have been an athlete...he said on the last day of shooting in budapest anushka challenged the assistant director...she said she wud beat him in a race n both were running on the streets of budapest😆
