Clearly business in India is a joke, any uneducated lady off the street can become a shareholder - at least that's what these dramas show. The girl who once washed a laptop is now going to attend high-profile meetings? I can't imagine such a thing happening in England because to work in such a office or even smaller businesses, you need a minimum of a 2.1 in a Bachelor's degree - which most of us have. You can tell Gopi knows shit all, the way she flips through the files showing no interest and can barely pronounce words properly - she's a bloody joke. Also, she suddenly changed her name overnight without any official registration of it - we all thought that was laughable, never in my life have I heard of such a bizarre and uncomfortable thing - taking your mother in law's personal name as your own. Even her being called 'Gopi Ahem Modi' was strange enough as it should have simply been 'Gopi Modi'. Nor could I bare to hear her messed up Bengali English in today's episode - why does she pronounce each word with so much emphasis? We don't put emphasis on our 'T's' or anything for that matter, her dialect almost made me want to sort her out. Are script writer's mentally sane over there?

We can't expect any logic from the CV's😆 Just assume that she completed her education. That's what the cv's want.😆
But one thing is definite. Her husband's company is hers whatever may be her qualification. Ahem has made Gopi as a nominee & 51% shares in her name.

excuse me, Gopi is educated in saathiya - she finished her education and she was a qualified teacher. and i think you have forgotten that ahem himself told her in one episode that he taught her the basic knowledge which would help her in future. He said her that one day if I'm not here in the world i want you to be able to work independently and take decisions. And about the shareholder, in ahem's will it was written that Gopi will be a 51% shareholder and his mum kokila will have a share in the property. remember that the Modi business is their own family business so Gopi can join it anytime without having a specific degree. Jigar did not do any degree in the drama?? ahem didn't either! it wasn't shown! Let me tell you this is a dram and gopi hardly speaks english in the drama because thats her role and the dialogues she is given are mostly all in Hindi. I agree about the name Gopi Kokila Modi but remember its a drama, u don't always need to always think of the logic. Also, Gopi Ahem Modi is her name so why do u feel that is weird because in India , all wives have their husbands first name as their middle name! why criticise develop about her being bengali. Gopi's character is not meant to be really fluent in english so thats why her pronunciation of the words was not absoluetly correct. Why do u bring devoleena into this, love to see u act and become a successful actor. devoleena is one of the best actresses and she has faced a lot in her life to get where she is now. have u only realised now that everyone in the serial has lines where they put emphasis and thats not devoleenas fault its the person who edits their recording of their shoot. How dare you critise developers dialect! her character is Gopi, very simple, educated but doesn't mean that she has to know everything related to business! remember Gopi has done business before when she was doing that achaar business which became very popular and successful! Don't u dare say anything about Devoleena's acting/dialogues as in real life she is very educated and has done jobs before acting on tv! People in London, put emphasis on their T's so i have no idea what your talking about. If u wanna blame something, blame the director for making her say dialogues like that.

But there are people in the uk who have never had the benefit of going to university to gain a degree but they do hold such positions. Sometimes the university of life can teach you most of what you know. SNS is always going to bang its own drum. It cares little for logic, what's right and legal. As longs as people watch and discuss, increasing the trps they have nothing to worry about.

Richard Branson failed his exams and didn't even go to university.

Some of the self made tycoons started out with humble beginnings. They just have a knack for knowing what will sell or do well. No reason why someone like Gopi cannot succeed. Degree or no degree. If she has a head for business, then she has a head for business. Jigar inherited his position.

Your opinion is irrelevant.
Gopi finished her education and she was a teacher when Vidya was younger. Gopi will be successful since she has Kokilas blessings.
I can't believe that you would say something negative about Gopi, she's an amazing actress and I can't wait to see her in Bollywood movies and be huge which she is already. Don't watch Saathiya if you're saying negative things about the lead actress and the way she acts/talks

I don't think business needs qualification as such. It is all about building rapport with the customers & the tact. It is all about speaking from customers pov

There is no need for education to become a business owner... so it does not really matter..and she is educated and she did her business before..

I think education and business acumen are different things. And Gopi definitely has the latter (according to what has been earlier shown in the serial).
On a lighter note, as far as education is concerned I'm sure Gopi's current husband must be highly educated - so if she has any problems education-wise (mark my words, not business acumen-wise), he can help her out (of course indirectly).
