Once I sported the red hair for a while, it looked good, I use to get a lot of compliments but red is also an expensive colour to maintain.

my mom still freaks out at me for wearing mismatched socks. I just roll my eyes and go with the flow.

I haven't gotten my nose pierced but I did get three piercings on my ear and my fam freaked out over that. You can imagine how sensitive those people are to see anyone breaking the traditional mold.
