While Shaan and Rajni's wonderful interaction deserves its own post, I wanted to talk about one of the biggest revelations to date - regarding Shaan's love life.

It IS one of the biggest revelations and something really important for shajni's own story too! I'm so happy this track is coming up yaay 😳😆

First of all, the shock and subsequent burst of rage he shows towards her when she comes out in the sari.

Okay so in this scene, I really felt he was describing Rajni too. And it is possible, as a creator, be it any creator, takes his inspiration from something he admires alot and for Shaan his ex was most beautiful, so if he crafted Rajni somewhat based on her, not completely but yes ensuring that she has similar beauty, it's really natural.

So many emotions!!!

.First of all - Shaan babu and pyaar!! He had mentioned off-hand once that he had an ex-girlfriend whom he neglected to create Rajni. In this scene though, the usually logical Shaan expresses his love for her in the most Shaantanu way possible - first by complimenting her appearance very vividly, and then by saying some of the sweetest words ever.😳😳 His grin reaches from ear to ear and it's obvious that whoever she was, she has left Shaan with some of his fondest memories...

Oh this Shaan is really a surprise! I was shocked that he wanted to tell Rajni about this, something he never spoke about with anyone - he did with Rajni. And he didnt see rajni as a robot then, he just saw her as someone he could share his feelings with, he WANTED to 😳. And I loved this new side of Shaan, this is the first time we've seen this side to him and I just love him more ❤️. Whoever she was, he did love her alot. And this makes me wonder, how much more will he love Rajni?

And then he shares what broke them up - his devotion to Rajni instead of her. Shaan's ego has always been his characteristic flaw but in this case it seems to have been

Unlike all the hindi serial romances we watch, where girl and boy love each other no matter what - in this case their romance seems to have broken down for very realistic reasons. It would be difficult for any girl to stay with a guy who spends way more time with his work than on her. Being in a relationship requires time and effort from both parties, so being an overzealous workaholic just wouldn't cut it.

Also, he talks about how she thought he was chasing a hollow dream to make Rajni. We have seen many such sad cases in history where some of the most revolutionary minds on earth have had to tread their paths alone because their commitment to their cause simply obliterated anything else in their lives. To be honest, if Shaan did not devote the time that he did, Rajni would not have been built. Which also explains why he is so protective and proud of her - he sacrificed a probably-beautiful relationship for a project that may not even have worked.

This always makes me sad, how people keep thinking he is useless. As you've said, it was the case with most of the revolutionary minds but they fought it all and proved themselves and so is Shaan. You could hear the sadness in his voice when he said his ex thought of him to be useless BUT I loved how Rajni immediately went and consoled him saying he is definitely NOT useless, he made her, dedicated so much to her. He is a genius, a gem 😳

One of the best parts of this scene was the expression on Shaan's face as he talks about his life. A wave of happy nostalgia when he remembers her, followed by a bittersweet smile of resignation that his love-story was destined to remain incomplete. He even explains to Rajni that merely looking sad and actually feeling sad are 2 very different things, and we can all guess how Shaan must be feeling.

Yes, his expressions were 👏. Karan nailed it again, and Ridhima too. But today was completely Shaan and Karan 👏👏. I'm so moved today, just have no words. And I'm still amazed that he finally told Rajni all this, this is definitely something pivotal in their relation.

Rajni, on her part, asked such logical and thoughtful questions that also shows how she has improved in her understanding of humans. Also, I was quite impressed that she intends to repair his life. Logically speaking, without a girlfriend, Shaan has been able to devote most of his time to her and improving on her. Reuniting with his gf could possible ruin that aspect. Yet she decides that sad is bad, and she cannot let her Shaan be sad so she will re-ignite their love story.

Rajni was a darling today, as always. She does not have a heart but a logic board but that logic board has bigger 'heart' than his own family's. She felt bad for Shaan, she could not see him sad and though he assured her that he has accepted that that was not meant to be and SHE is his present and future and most important to him, Rajni takes it upon herself to make her Shaan happy <3. Gosh these two 😭❤️

Of course, the greatest worry now is what would happen if this girl re-entered his life? I'm going to guess with a few thoughts of my own:

1) He finds her, but she is already engaged/married: Best case scenario. This would probably help Shaan to truly move on from her.

2) Rajni succeeds in reuniting them: 😭😭😭

3) My favourite: Shaan does get back together with her, but eventually realises it would not work any ways.

There are a few reasons for that:

- He falls in love with Rajni instead

- He realises he probably cannot leave his work for his girlfriend.

Personally, I prefer the last option. There is no doubt that Shajni is my OTP😳😳😳 But truthfully speaking, it's more likely that he realises probably that he is simply too devoted to his work and that he cannot compromise it over a relationship. Furthermore, Rajni gives an interesting sort of companionship that complements his hectic lifestyle and errant nature so well - Rajni is so calm while Shaan is pareshaan😆, Rajni is very logical while Shaan is rather prone to emotional outbursts, Rajni is ironically quite understanding of human nature where he fails. It's also quite obvious from the fact that he wants to tell her details of his life, that he feels some sort of connection (friendship?) to her that makes him comfortable with her.

I feel Shaan's ex coming will end with him realizing he is in love with Rajni, or atleast him realizing that now Rajni is way more important and has a deeper place in his life than merely being his creation. It has to end this way or the whole point of those romance lessons, this whole scene today and Rajni's mission will me moot. This track will be really instrumental for their relationship 😳 and I have complete faith in the cvs to handle it well 😳

What remains to be seen is if he intends to accept romance from her too? Shaan knows well enough that Rajni doesn't exactly feel love or happiness or sadness - but he should also know that whatever she tries to do is always aimed at his benefit.

I have a theory about this too. Rajni is a clever robot, she is using her logic to 'feel'. She is observing the humans around her and now knows how and what they feel in situations and she is doing the same. She was disappointed with shaan the day she caught him flirting, she was upset when she thought he was khafa with her, she was sad when she thought Amrish is upset, she 'feels' happy whenever she thinks she's doing something that will make shaan happy. If all this is not Rajni 'feeling', then what is? True she does not have hormones and a heart but she is very very sharp and unique, She's catching up really fast and developing so much that she's using her own logic to 'feel' human emotions . And cvs are doing it so well that it doesn't even feel 😲 to suddenly reaalize that this robot is 'feeling' or something close to that.

I really really loved the scene between the two, and I hope it makes their relationship even more stronger in the future!

This is THE BEST episode ever and the last part was just..I dont know, I have no words! 👏😳

This can be the best but I think then they may not get to explore more on this with more twists and turns so this best case scenario (even though it can make us real happy 😆) is not happening I think 😔

Pls no 😭 .. But logically speaking (acc. to Rajni's logic 😆) this can happen if they would want to make it look more real 😒

This ofcourse is what we all want, Shajni as the end game.. Not to forget the difference when his ex called him a lukkha but Rajni is maybe the only one who believes in him!! And yes he really cannot leave his work as Rajni is still not complete 😉
