How come talaash was not a flop cos of genre ?

It's the same so called dark/niche thriller like Fan. Yes it was not a clean hit but not a clean flop either

Also movies like
Kahaani
Badlapur

Boi is giving excuses and excuses. All are of this same genre and all are hits except Talaash which is Semi-Hit. Only BOI knows how absurd reasons they gave to justify Fan's bad performance on BO.

Better screenplay, great direction(Kahaani), no competition. They had good WOM as opposed to mixed WOM for FAN. Edited by Faberica - 8 years ago
