The episode starts with Suchitra imploring Mihir to prevent Noina from leaving Shantiniketan, warning that Noina intends to end her life, and holding Mihir accountable for the potential tragedy, shocking the Virani family.

As Noina gathers her belongings, Mitali attempts to intervene. Noina apologizes to Dev and Saloni, then extends her apologies to Rithik, Shobha, and Parth, explaining that she never meant to cause them harm, only seeking acceptance within the household. She acknowledges the impossibility of replacing Tulsi in their lives. With the understanding that they may never cross paths again, Noina prepares to depart.

Despite Mitali and Suchitra's continued efforts to dissuade her, Noina insists they cease their attempts and departs, her mind filled with flashbacks of Mihir. Suddenly, Mihir calls out for her to stop. He reflects on her past suicide attempt, recalling his role in saving her, and urges her to stay. Noina agrees to pause her departure but questions the future, given the possibility of being asked to leave again. She recounts her years with him, based on his promise of marriage and companionship. However, she now feels her hopes are shattered, believing her emotions and love were merely a game to him, a claim Mihir denies.

Noina confronts Mihir, demanding a commitment: marriage or departure. She declares her fate—life or death—will no longer be his concern.

Mihir's Dilemma and Tulsi's Resolve

Mihir, unable to marry Noina until his divorce from Tulsi is finalized, asks her to wait. Meanwhile, Vrinda checks on Tulsi, inquiring about her feelings regarding Noina's continued presence at Shantiniketan. Tulsi, unmoved, expresses her detachment, stating that their relationship is over. She believes it's time to proceed with the divorce, regretting her hesitation due to Dev and Saloni's wedding.

Tulsi acknowledges that Baapji now knows the truth, leaving nothing to conceal. She believes a legal separation will allow Mihir to do right by Noina. Vrinda then questions Tulsi's resolve to follow through with the divorce.

Noina's Determination and Gautam's Despair

Noina confides in Suchitra, asserting that Mihir and Tulsi's divorce is inevitable and irreversible. She expresses her weariness from waiting for Mihir, acknowledging that their separation was bound to happen.

Simultaneously, Gautam, overcome with emotion, reflects on a painful memory. His wife, Damini, once questioned his place in the family, suggesting he was treated as an outsider, not as Karan, Mihir and Tulsi's son. Their son Nakul also felt neglected, pointing out the preferential treatment given to Parth. Damini lamented that Nakul's dream of studying abroad was shattered. The flashback shows Damini and Nakul departing from Gautam. In the present, Gautam blames Tulsi and Mihir for his loneliness.

Suchitra's Regret and Noina's Deceit

Suchitra questions if Noina's being punished for her actions, recalling the night she spent with Mihir. Noina clarifies nothing happened, as Mihir passed out drunk. But she admits Mihir believes something did occur, and she didn't correct him. Tired of Mihir's devotion to Tulsi, Noina aimed to induce guilt, hoping to damage his marriage. She manipulated the situation, letting Mihir believe what she implied, strategically aiming to break his relationship with Tulsi. Noina's plan was to play on Mihir's emotions, exploiting his love for Tulsi to fuel his doubts and create tension. She wanted Mihir to question his commitment, hoping to drive a wedge between him and Tulsi. Noina's actions were calculated, using Mihir's weaknesses to get what she wanted, even if it meant hurting those around her.

Noina's Justification and Hidden Motives

Noina attempts to justify her actions, claiming her lie was a favor, as Mihir and Tulsi's relationship was already fractured. She admits to deceiving Mihir, believing separation was best for them. She saw Mihir's guilt and his desire to be with her, and she admits to exploiting his emotional state. She asks Suchitra to keep their secret.
