Rahul Chahar has announced his divorce from Ishani Johar, just days before what would have been their fourth wedding anniversary. The 26 year old cricketer shared a detailed note on Instagram on February 20, 2026, confirming that the marriage has legally ended after a long court battle.

Rahul, who represents Rajasthan in domestic cricket and plays in the IPL, said the past year has been deeply challenging. He revealed that he spent 15 months attending court hearings to settle the matter. Without going into personal allegations, he spoke about emotional growth and hard lessons.

“I entered marriage at a young age, before I fully understood myself, my worth, or the life I truly wanted to build. What followed were years of lessons I never expected, and the last fifteen months spent navigating courtrooms, learning patience, resilience, and the strength that some from in truth,” he wrote.

Rahul married Ishani Johar on March 9, 2022, in Goa. He was 22 at the time. The couple had earlier got engaged in Jaipur in 2019. Their wedding had drawn attention on social media, with several cricketing colleagues in attendance.

In his latest statement, Rahul confirmed that the legal process has concluded and the separation came at a significant personal and financial cost. He stressed that the chapter has closed without bitterness.

“Today, that chapter of my life formally comes to a close. After due legal process, the matter has been settled with my resolution that costed a lot, bringing finality to this phase of my life. I close this chapter not with anger or regret, but with clarity. Some relationships are not meant to last forever they are meant to awaken us, teach us. and transform us. I move forward wiser, more self-aware, and certain of the life I deserve to build,” he added.

Rahul’s post has drawn mixed reactions online. While some fans appreciated his openness, others urged privacy around personal matters. In an industry where public figures often avoid discussing family issues, his statement stood out for its direct tone.
