So is Karan Johar backing up Fawad's career?

I just read that Fawad and Deepika will do a film for Karan's production. I am just so happy for Fawad. This guy deserves a big backing more than anybody else. It was always known that Karan Johar supports the star kids only but I think this time he has decided to bring some real talent for his banner.

kapoor and sons is definitely superior than many recent Dharma movies and it's was overwhelming to see that Fawad got the better role and more importance than Sid and Alia. The film is a huge success and I just hope Bollywood does not snub Fawad and gives him opportunities. He will be paired opposite Aishwarya in Karan's next and I bet many people will choose watching the film for Fawad if he has an integral part .

not only kjo..kapoor sisters are very much keen to cast fawad too..he needs to sign for battle of bittora..he hasn't yet and i hope he doesn't

It's a good thing if KJO finally realizes that Fawad is talented and he will give him backing. I mean look at Sid and Varun, Varun gets numerous films because he also has a good backing whereas Sid is not at all utilized , KJO gives him two hero films. KJO might do the same thing with Fawad too but I think a film opposite Deepika might prove me wrong.
Fawad should not sign a film which has Sonam as the central lead made by her father, it will not benefit his career anyway. Fawad should sign something opposite Alia too

Karan surely is gung-ho about Fawad at this point in time. How it translates into work in future is not clear. Both have indicated that they are keen to work with each other but there is no formal announcement yet.
