Can we stop villifying Sonam Kapoor please. Where do you think Fawad got the intro to Kjo from in the first place? This type of thing is the reason why some Fawad fans are making him unlikeable. Sonam & her whole family went beyond & above to establish Fawad Khan in Bwood. So much he is considered like Anil Kapoors second son. 😆 Not only to their benefit, but also because they always promote talent. Any other actor in his HP gets credits but when Sonam Kapoor does, it is a problem? 🥱

Khoobsurat was centered about Mili Chakraborty & there is nothing wrong with it. Yet it still gave Fawad enough scoop to catch Bwoods interest WITHOUT having to carry the risks of the movie on his shoulders. I wish people could see that beyond the fan glasses we all wear.

Backed up, yes he is. Because it is working out for both of them. Filmmaking is a business first & foremost. Fawad Khan got the best out of the deal so far because he gets to show his acting abilities without having the pressure to carry a movie on his shoulders too soon. That is the reason why he also got a "cameo" in Kjos next. In case K &S was not the hit they were hoping for, fawad would still get enough opportunities for the indian public to get used to him & accept him slowly. & Kjo would still be able to bank on Fawads following outside of India. Luckily for all involved, it is turning out to be a smashing hit. & the fact that Fawad even got that cameo opposite Aishu, Bir & Anu before K&S released, speaks volumes.

He is a great actor, no doubt. A superstar in his country & in other places, definitely. But there is a good reason why his introduction in Bwood had to be carefully planned if it is to work. So far everything is working perfectly for him. Next, he can get a single hero lead in a Dharma production (probably with DP if rumours are to be believed) because now the general public, not just his serial fans is well familiar with him. & if DP signs the movie, she will get one where she is not a second fiddle to an established Bwood actor for once. Everyone wins.

Good for Kjo to see that & make sure their association is profitable for both.

I like Sonam and I will agree she was super nice to Fawad during Khoobsurat. However, I have a problem with Anil Kapoor Productions because of the statements they gave post Khoobsurat release. They gave all credit to Sonam and did not acknowledge that the collections outside India were helped by Fawad's presence.

No offense but I want to see Fawad and Sonam together in a romantic movie but not produced by Sonam's family.

btw they did feature in a Pakistani ad film together and are still very cordial with each other. On several occasions Fawad has praised Sonam during K&S promotions.

I think Fawad himself was also not sure how much reach he can have in bollywood and how many people he could impress. he comes off as a very calm and laid back person TBH, and i am sure he is very intelligent too, with out making much controversies he has landed up into good books of big producers, and it shows that he is easily likable by many and can develop curiosity among the audience too.

As some people here said, that yes KJO did not do any charity, and he also had some agenda to revive Dharma productions and branch it out more towards the younger generation. Gone are the days when Dharma would rely on SRK, Kareena and even Ranbir, they have more young and talented faces to carry of their business and that too in a limited budget with good revenues in return.
