Suman refused to there for him when he was in worst situation. What is the purpose of a friend when you can't stand with him when he is in trouble. After all happened how can you say he is your friend.

agree... she never stood upto him, only used his freindhip time and again...to complete her home work and stuff like that.. though she ran after him when he left, but we really do not know what made her do so, that running and saying sorry... a lot of it needs to unfold... guess we will get all our answers in next few episodes

As much as the word redemption is used, I am rather worried if the cvs will use Suman as a punching bag for all the wrongs that shall be meted out to her whether by her family or Shravan, or Shravan's family. It will only make this show which is otherwise refreshing follow the same route of abla naari, bechaari stuff with just a little bit of drama added. And somehow even if I understand where this hurt and anger of Shravan stems from, it does no good in condoning Shravan's act of using his power, authority as you mentioned for all the wrong reasons.
And Suman in yesterday's episode was painted more in black at least in her past. What can keep me motivated to watch this show is not how they redeem Sumo in the present but how she dealt with the wrong that she did during the last ten years. I don't want a sob story whether in the past or in her present, but a story where Sumo acknowledges her mistake that too in the past itself. Somehow, I felt this has already been messed up with Sumo saying it was not a big deal to Shravan.
It is here I feel Shravan's father has a role to boot. Was Suman already aware that Shravan's mom had left even before Shravan did. And she wanted him to become strong and remain focused in life. Instead of giving him a shoulder to cry upon, she gave him a new found zeal to remain courageous amidst the pain in life. Why did she use the word bewaquoofi? Was it a mind of a fifteen year old which might have come upon this plan to save her friend from misery but instead it lead him to a never ending gloom. And it is here I believe, in this context, that she used the term bewaquoofi, she probably thought that if she helped him in this phase he would give up hope and live in despair... it was an immature mind trying to act like an adult. I don't know... because after young Shravan left the spot we are given no scenes of what transpired within Sumo. There is no way we can assess Sumo's behaviour. I need a flashback of Sumo recalling the same scene but from her prespective. Yesterday, it was tilted highly in favour of Shravan but is that the only picture, only story? Could be... but i am not sure
Because otherwise Sumo will face only a barrage of rubbish thrown upon her and she would have to face it silently to redeem and as you seek his forgiveness. It will become like any other show.

actually, I feel that Suman is already paying the price, no one in her family cares for her, no one values her... they only need her when they want to shed their responsibility (like making food, lending money etc)

Was Suman already aware that Shravan's mom had left even before Shravan did. And she wanted him to become strong and remain focused in life. Instead of giving him a shoulder to cry upon, she gave him a new found zeal to remain courageous amidst the pain in life.

quite possible, as we really do have much information, all we know is in bits and pieces

And it is here I believe, in this context, that she used the term bewaquoofi

this was the most cruel part, may be CVs intentionally did that because they wanted us to understand why Shravan felt the way he does.. this is what broke the image of innocent Sumo for us... this actually brought out the dark, hurtful side of that little girl... her blurting out about her parents fighting and all... this actually did for us... I guess CVs are doing a pretty good job to keep us hooked onto this to want to find out more..

In yesterday's episode, this term of bewaquoofi by Suman, I think so was used intentionally to keep us hooked as you say. But, more so as much we have understood about young Sumo she did try to solve everyone's problems... and in solving Shravan's problem the way she did she realized it quite late that she had gone horribly wrong. Because, I did feel the elaborate drama was set up, her friends said she was taking the class of juniors, was it all sham? And in between, for a moment we did see her facade of being popular did fell apart... was she merely playacting??
Has Shravan's father played a role? I guess we will have to wait

uff.. really whenever I remember this scene and Shravan retreating away... I feel like cryng 😭😭

but yes, I think there is lot more than what meets the eye... definitely, Ramnath has something cooked up here...

but I did see a flicker of care in Sumo's eyes... that's making me lend her benefit of doubt.. but like u said, yes we will wait and watch
