CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

'Hey... That is hurtful...'' Said AJ who seemed like she wasn't in her senses

'Can we please talk to Ishu, it will only be a few seconds...'' Said Priya

'Sure, I will ask Neelu to get her...'' said Raman as he turned but Ishita was walking down with Aditya and Ruhi and when she saw her friends, the smile on her face disappeared and she seemed pissed all of a sudden

'Oh here she comes...'' Said Raman as he stepped aside

The kids walked into the living room and walked to their father as they humbly greeted the guests that were standing in the middleof the living room

'Good Evening...'' Said Ruhi

'Good Evening...'' SaidAditya

'Hey...'' Said Priya and Vandu followed

'Oh hey beautiful...'' Said AJ slurring her words and at that point it didn't take a genius to see, she was terribly tipsy

'Oh ho... You had better have a really damn good reason for being here or so help me God...'' Said Ishita

'Ishu, wait... You look upset okay, just...'' Vandu began

I f**king work here... This is not some sort of hotel or market that you will just walk in and out of... I f**king work here...'' She said againangrily

Now at that point Raman would have done the right thing and walked away given they needed privacy but he was just curious as to why she was so pissed and given hehad never seen her like that, he couldn't walk away.

'Oh Nanny is mad...'' Said Aditya and Romi turned saying

'Neelu, come for the kids back upstairs...'' Said Romi

'No... We shall move out...'' Said Ishita

'Ishita, it is okay...'' Said Romi and Neelu obeyed

'Ishu listen, we need you to help us finish this...'' AJ began

'Are you drunk...'' Ishita said

'What... No... I mean... Maybe...That is not the point, look this is huge and you gotta help us otherwise we are so screwed...'' Said AJ but at that point Ishitahad pretty much stopped listening to AJ and had turned to Priya

'Explain, and have a very good reason for bringing this thing here...'' She said

'Ishu listen, I wouldn't have come if it wasn't important... We gotta finish that code today and we have failed... You need to help them...'' Said Priya

'Why... Who wants it...'' Said Ishita

'Ishu, I wouldn't ask if it wasn't important...'' said Vandu

'Priya I am asking you, whose is it?'' SaidIshita standing her ground and Priya knew she was about to cross a line she was never coming back from.

Raman had never seen this side of her; he had never seen any side of her except the talkative chirpy one. Whatever this was, whatever it was about, these friends of her had most certainly hit a nerve

'Ishu please...'' Said Priya tearing up and Ishita reluctantly said

'I can't do anything here. Now, now I am working...''

'I know but we can leave it with you... Here check it out...'' Said AJ

'You need to stay the hell away from me because I am about a second away from smacking that stupidity out of your head...'' Said Ishita and AJ stepped back much to Romi and Raman's surprise

She took the phone from Vandu who had taken it from AJ and began looking through. She frowned, a bit as she looked through and then kept quiet for a second before she said

'Whose code is this and what do you intend on doing with it?''

'Ishu, do this one favor for me...'' Said Priya and Ishita looked at her coming close to her before she stepped back scoffing as she said

Are you f**king kidding me...''

'Ishu...'' SaidVandu

'You want me to write code for that drug riddled good for nothing ex-boyfriend of yours so that he can go do whatever illegal thing he was planning now...'' Said Ishita

'He is an addict not useless...'' Said Vandu

'Priya, really... After everything, really'' Said Ishita as she began tearing up

'Hey don't talk about my brother like that...'' Said Vandu

'He is bad for you. I don't understand how everyone sees that but you... Now you are writing code to help him steal... And you brought it here...'' Said Ishita

'What... No... We are not stealing anything... He just wanted us to test this security system for some organization. We were going to be paid really good money...'' Said Vandu

'Always about the money with you, how were you supposed to test this system... By hacking it isn't it...'' Said Ishita and Vandu kept quiet

Ishita turned a back to where Priya was and said

'I give up... I am done caring... Do what you want but I am not going to be a party to this... And tell that son of a bitch that the next time he wants to try this; he had better have something more than just this amateurish crap... ' Said Ishita turning to Vandu

'And tell your brother, to hack that system, he is going to have to go through me, I built that system... That so for free... You know why... Ask Priya, am sure she will tell you...'' She added

'Ishu...'' Priya in tears said

'Just get out... Go... When you get back to your senses you know what to do but I am done worrying about you...'' Said Ishita

'Hey, you can't talk to her like that... Who do you think of yourself...? What do you take us for?'' Said AJ

'Oh... She ... She is family...'' Said Ishita pointing to Priya

'You, you are the worthless good for nothing leeches who just go where things are good. You pretend to care about her, where were you, when she was on the floor Over Dosing because of drugs your brother had given to her. Now she is doing well and now all of a sudden you are good friends. f**k off and get the hell out of my sight before I do something I might regret ...'' She shouted

'You can't talk to me like that... Do you know what I can do...'' Said AJ

'There a couple of people in this world you can threaten and it carries weight; I am not one of them. Believe me, I carry more weight than what I lead on and even with all my bullshit, the amount of power I hold is beyond your comprehension so don't you dare threaten me again...'' Said Ishita and Vandu pulled AJ back

'You need to shut up...'' Said Vandu

'And you...'' Said Ishita

'Ishu...'' Called Priya

'It is simple, either hang out with them and pack your stuff and get the hell out of my house or cut ties with them and go for a meeting... Up to you ...'' said Ishita before she walked to the door and opened it

'Get out... And never come back here...'' She added

AJ and Vandu turned to their heels and walked out and Priya with teary eyes faintly smile that Raman saying

'I am so sorry for this...''

'It is okay...'' Said Raman feeling bad and with that she walked out

Ishita turned banging the door behind them as she began cursing under her breath walking back to the living room

'I am so sorry about that and I swear it is never going to happen again...'' She said shaking as she tried to keep it together

'It is okay, what the hell was that all about?'' Said Romi

'Are you dealing in illegal stuff because if you are you're going to have to leave. I can't he such characters around my house...'' Raman began

'I am not. They needed my help and I said NO. I didn't know they were coming here otherwise I would have said no to that as well. And as far as such characters are concerned, my friends will not bother you anymore, I promise you...'' said Ishita defensively

'That is not what I meant...'' Raman began

'Can I go to my room now, please...'' said Ishita looking down as she hid the tears that were streaming down her face

'You're not a child, you can go to your room whenever you want...'' Said Romi and with that Ishita walked away pissed as hell

'What the hell just happened...'' Said Romi looking at Ishita

'How should I know, I was here with you...'' Said Raman

'I don't think I have ever seen her that pissed...'' Said Romi

'Me either... ' Said Raman

They all stood there dumb founded not knowing what to think about the whole thing. They both however understood that she needed time alone and that was going to be given to her.

Things between Ishita and Priya had not improved and Ishita was still finding it hard to trust Priya. She had been through a lot with Priya and her addiction and most of the time she had been there for her but there came a time when one had to say enough is enough.

Priya was Ishita's friend and they had known each other since they were kids. There worlds they were brought into as completely different but they found friendship and none of the status mattered to them. Their lives however had different turns and when Ishita left her father's house, she had managed to settle in Delhi with Mihika's help and when Priya showed up asking for her help. She gave it, whole heartedly on condition Priya was to leave her wayward ways and stay clean.

It has not been easy, there were relapses and each time Ishita and Mihika were around to pick up the pieces, even the time she almost died, there were there and she had promised them that she would stay away from that kind of life and it had been that way until she saw her yesterday, handing with the same crowd and high out of her mind.

Ishita was scared and angry at the same time. How could someone have so much little regard for her life and the people that cared for them? When she found her laying on the floor she promised herself and also told Priya that the next time it happened, was the last time she would go through that and Priya had promised never to do it again, but then again, she was an addict, lying was part of their forte.

It had been a couple of days and she and Priya hadn't talked to each other. She wanted to call and check on her but she also didn't want her to feel like she could get away with it so she opted not to

'Nanny... Nanny ...'' Aditya called bring Ishita out of her stance walking to the door as she opened it

'Yes... What is it...'' Said Ishita

'There are noises outside, can't you hear that...'' Said Aditya

'What noises, and why are you up at this time of the night...'' Said Ishita

'Well I was asleep but whomever is outside won't stop banging at the door. You are the only adult here given Neelu went to see her parents and Dad isn't here...'' Said Aditya

'Right... Sorry...'' Said Ishita realizing as she heard the noises as well

'Come on, I will take you back to bed and I will take care of this...'' Said Ishita taking Aditya's hand and walking him back to his room

She tucked him in turning off the lights before she locked the door

'What the hell? Someone, open the damn door...'' Someone shouted again

'Am coming chill out...'' Said Ishita taking the key as she walked to the door

'Took you long enough...'' Said Rinky as she stumbled inside with three of her friends

'Wha... Careful watch your step...'' Said Ishita as one of Rinky's friends fell causing the rest of them to laugh

'Who the hell are these...'' Said Ishita

'Ohh... Uhhh ... This is Ally and her boyfriend Ayush...'' Said Rinky slurring her tongue

'Hey...'' Said Ayush as he stood infront of Ishita as close she could smell his drunk filled breath

'And this is...'' Said Rinky looking at the remaining person like she had forgotten

'Arav... We just met...'' He completed and she just smiled saying

'Yeah sorry...''

Ishita looked at them and she could tell they were drunk out of their minds and probably had no idea what was actually happened around them. Rinky led them straight to the kitchen opening the figure as she picked out a few more beers before they went outside by the pool side

'Hey you...'' Said Rinky causing Ishita to look at her

'I want food... Prepare something for me to eat...'' She added

'Excuse me...'' Said Ishita

CHAPTER NINETEEN

'You heard me, go... Do not just stand there...'' Said Rinky and Ishita knowing arguing would be a waste of time walked to the fridge and took out a few leftovers that she warmed up for them.

Rinky walked to the living room and put on the sound system putting on very loud music before she walked back outside. They were getting comfortable and they took off their clothes and began skinny dipping. At that point even Ruhi had woken up and Mihri as well who was in the quarters was awake and had come out to see what was going on.

It was the middle of the night and whatever was going on was on okay. Mihir was sort of used to it and so where the kids. Aditya took his sister and her teddy bear and the both walked to Raman's room. The noise was not so much there as it was in their room so they always went there and slept in their father's bed.

Rinky was smart and only came here when she knew Raman wasn't here and given how spoilt she was and how her siblings pampered and spoilt her, complaints always fell on deaf ears and she would do it every single time. Every worker who ever went through Bhalla mansion had a different way of dealing but all of them knew better than to mess with the girl of the house. But Rinky was about to find out, Ishita was no normal domestic worker. She walked out of the kitchen switching off the music before she walked to the pool pissed as hell.

When she got there, Rinky was seated by the pool her legs dangling in the water while her new friend Arav was in the water his hands holding her thighs. It was quite disgusting mainly because he seemed significantly older than her. Her other friends were passed out by the pool Ally half naked.

'Oh My God...'' Yelled Ishita starling everyone causing all of them to look at her

'What the f**k...'' She screamed again

'Will you shut the hell up...'' Said Rinky as she held her head

'Oh hell no...'' Said Ishita walking to where they were

'Get up, get out... Now...'' She said

'What... No...'' Said Rinky

'Now... I am not playing, get up and get out... If you are not a Bhalla, get up and get the hell out ofthis mansion, now...'' Said Ishita

'They are my guest you can't do that... Who the hell do you think you are? You're just a maid, be that, stop behaving like you won the place...'' Said Rinky standing up as Arav came out of the water and grabbed his pants

'Seriously Raman always hires the damn ones, case in point, another idiot...'' Said Rinky looking at her friends who laughed before she turned to Ishita saying

'Go back in the kitchen and get me something to eat you damn idiot...''

Ishita being Ishita was never going to let this fly and she knew saying what she was saying theywere never going to listen to her. But she always knew what to do in scenarios like these, I mean she was living with Priya, she ought to have known. She walked back inside as Rinky and her friends laughed behind her back

'Your maid is such a bitch...'' Said Ally

'Tell me about it...'' Said Rinky sitting back down

Before they could get completely comfortable, They heard Ishita come back yelling out of her mind like she was a crazy person holding a bat in her hand as she charged towards them that they all went to the end of the pool

'Now... This very bitchy damn idiotic Maid is going to calmly count to three, and by the time I am done, everyone whose name isn't Bhalla should be out of this house and gone...'' She said

'You can't do that...'' Said Rinky who was a bit frightened

'One...'' Said Ishita

'Just f**k off ...'' Said Ally

'Two...'' Said Ishita

'Dude, she seems serious...'' Said Ayush

'Three... Start moving...'' Said Ishita

'Or what...'' Said Arav

Ishita charged to where they were waving the bat around as she began screaming. They too began screaming as they began running around the pool before the ran back inside to the living room

'Stop... Why are you...? Stop...'' Said Rinky standing in the middle of the living room with her friends behind her

'I want all of them out of this house, now...'' Said Ishita standing her ground

'Okay... We'll get our stuff and leave...'' Said Arav

'No nobody goes back by the pool... Mihir...'' Ishita shouted and Mihir came in with their bags and phones

'The next time you want to show up at someone's house uninvited, show up at an appropriate time, sober...'' Said Ishita her bat still in her hands

'Rinky I will see you later...'' Said Ally

'Of course, I am so sorry about this...'' She said turning to Ishita

'Seems my brother's nanny is crazy...'' she yelled

'You are just figuring that out now...'' Said Ishita looking at them

'Get out...'' She added

'Okay, Okay... We are leaving...'' Said Ayush and they all turned to their heels and they walked out

'I can't believe you just...'' Rinky began

'And you... ' Shouted Ishita startling Rinky as she took a step back

'Get to the bathroom and wash that stink off of you... You reek of alcohol...'' Said Ishita

'Who the hell do you think you are...'' Said Rinky absolutely pissed

'I am a nanny who is need of her sleep and you are the spoilt brat who is completely disrupting that...'' Said Ishita

'Wait... When Raman gets here I will...'' Said Rinky and Ishita interrupted

'Yeah... Yeah... Get him to fire me; I have heard that before... Go upstairs and clean yourself or should I help you do that as well...'' Said Ishita holding her bat

'No... I am going...'' Said Rinky who was drunk but because of whatever had happened, she didn't seem so out of it anymore

'You're crazy...'' She said crying

'I have heard that too...'' Said Ishita as Rinky went upstairs

Ishita sighed as she placed the bat where it was going to the fridge and grabbing a bottle of water much to Mihir's shock and amusement. He looked at her and she was acting like that last couple of minutes didn't even matter. He wasn't sure whether to admire her for her braveness or feel sorry for her for her stupidity.

'What...'' She said as she turned looking at him

'You are crazy...'' He said

'Oh thank you, I try...'' She said

'I am not complimenting you... That is Rinky... Raman's very spoilt sister... ' Said Mihir

'Yeah, so...'' Said Ishita

'You realize you may have just lost your job...'' Said Mihir

'Whatever, I am not going to need it in 3 months anyway...'' Said Ishita

'Why what happens in three months...'' Said Mihir and Ishita out of impulse says

'I get my birthright...''

'Meaning...'' Said Mihir confused

'Nothing... I mumble when I am sleepy...'' She said changing topics

'What is the matter with you? I swear what if you had hurt them...'' Said Mihir still not over the shock that she had chased them around with a bat

'Then they would learn showing up at people's houses especially when you are drunk in the middle of the night is a no...no...'' Said Ishita causing Mihir to begin laughing

'You seriously have a death wish...'' He said laughing as he joined her taking a bottle of water

'You know out of all the Bhallas Raman is the nice and rational one. Simmi and Romi are alright but they have a blind spot where their sister is concerned... Add their melodramatic and mean mother to the equation, we have dooms day...'' He said

'You make it sound like they are tyrants...'' Said Ishita

'Their mother is...That woman is scary...'' Said Mihir and Ishita carelessly laughed

'Your something else...How the hell are you not worried right now'' He said

'Because I know I did the right thing...'' Said Ishita

'That has never mattered...'' Says Mihir

'Well in any case, I know one of them and he is bad news...'' Said Ishita

'Who...'' Said Mihir

'That Arav fellow... He is not a very good person... ' Said Ishita

'How do you know...'' Said Mihir

'He supplied Priya with pills ...'' Said Ishita

'Oh...'' Said Mihir

'He used to do it for his brother... Plus he is not the company she needs to have...'' Said Ishita

'Shouldn't that be her choice to make...'' Said Mihir

It is...But clearly she can't make the right one. Anyway that shouldn't be my business what she does but it will have to be somewhere else at a more appropriate time... They just spoilt my night...She can be spoilt at more convenient hours of the day'' Said Ishita putting the bottle down

'Well I am going to miss you...'' Said Mihir

'Why... I am not going anywhere...'' Said Ishita

'Oh... Trust me; you will need some kind of miracle to stay. If she creates the havoc that I know she will create, you will be fired...'' Said Mihir

'Well then, I guess I had fun then, at least I will be fired for something that I did right. I won't lose sleep over that...'' Said Ishita causing Mihir to chuckle shaking his head

'I pick them up tomorrow at around 9-9:30am so I imagine by 10:30 am you had better have a damn good reason for doing that because if you think she will take this lightly, you do not know the Bhallas...'' Said Mihir

'What do you mean pick them up...'' Said Ishita

'Raman Sir, Romi Sir and Simmi Madam...'' Said Mihir looking at her before he walked out saying

'Good Luck...''

She just watched Mihir leave and maybe should have been more bothered but she wasn't. She walked to the door that led to the pool locking it before she went walked upstairs to check on the kids. She first went to the room where Rinky had gone and when she opened the door Rinky was just passed out on the bed with her pants half down

'Spoilt brat...'' Ishita talked to herself before she walked in there helping Rinky

She took off her pants and removed her top and shoes before she put her under the covers while she put her clothes in the laundry basket.

She them made it to where Aditya and Ruhi where opening the door. They both were lying in Raman's bed with was huge given how small they looked in it. She walked over to check on them and she could see they were clearly pretending to be sleeping

'You can wake up, I know your pretending...'' She said and Ruhi opened one eye saying

'Are you going to beat us...''

'What... No... What would I do that...'' Said Ishita

'You just smacked around Rinky Didi's friends'' Said Aditya sitting up

'They were being naughty... Plus it is very late in the night for naughtiness... Also I didn't smack them... I just tapped them with a bat on their bottoms...'' Said Ishita and the kids giggled

'Is she okay...'' Said Aditya

''Yeah she is fine; she is in the bathroom watching that alch... I mean she is freshening up before she goes to bed...'' Said Ishita

'She was drunk wasn't she...'' Said Aditya but Ishita just looked at him and didn't say a thing

'I have to say though; you are in a lot of trouble... Rinky Didi is very naughty... She taught us some of our best pranks... She may report you to dad... ' Said Ruhi

'Or worse... To Grandma ...'' Said Aditya

'Yeah Mihir told me that already... I need to figure out a way to fix this huh...'' Said Ishita

'Yeah...'' Said Ruhi

'Well... It is really good knowing you nanny... We could have known each other longer...'' Said Aditya teasing

'Ha-Ha... Very funny ...'' Said Ishita as Aditya and Ruhi giggled

'Here, we will talk tomorrow, go to bed...'' She said as she tucked them him

'Good Night Ishita...'' Said Ruhi

'Night hon...'' Said Ishita

'Good Night Nanny...'' Said Aditya

'Good Night Grumpy...'' Said Ishita as she switched off the light and went out
