Introduction to Twinkle Taneja

Hi! I am Twinkle Taneja. I am a very talkative girl and a very fast talker. If you give me the attitude, no problem.I have one on my own.

There are the only things to know about me mostly :

* I hate anyone who disturbs my sleep and am very cranky and grumpy early in the morning.

* I am very clumsy. One time I managed to trip over my own foot and embarrassed myself . In fact I lost my little nail on my pinkie toe when I hit the corner of the table due to my clumsiness.

*I am a drama queen. I sometimes over exaggerate things.

* I am self certified mental person. I can break into impromptu dances and jigs.

* I am straight A+ Student. I am not a nerd. I am popular actually, just not popular for my beauty. I was the head girl of my school. Currently, I am holding the post of general manager in the New York branch of the company.

* I am skinny with unhealthy looking yellow brown pale , I guess its called olive skin colour. But I hate being skinny. My sister has the perfect height and figure. Boys go gaga over her. Over me, not much. What am I even saying, I have no one drooling over me. You know the heroines of romance novels, they always say they are ugly and all that,when in reality they are so beautiful, the most handsome boys fall in love with them. Well in my case, I have no hidden beauty whatsoever. I am just a regular average girl. Its my sister's beauty that flocks the boys. In fact my sister is so beautiful , when she was born, the nurses called her Princess Diana.

* I am multi talented. No joking guys.I can be modest and say than no I am not, it doesn't change the fact that I am trained in singing, and in instrument, painting as well as dancing. Whenever I get angry or upset, I dance to make myself happy.

* I play basketball,dodge ball, volleyball and badminton. I am good at sports inspire of my clumsiness. Its like when I am playing, all clumsiness vanishes. So you could say that what I am lacking in beauty, I make up in my skills.

*I am an avid reader. Its like I cant go on one day without reading. Most of the time, my mother scolds me for being lazy and always reading books.

* I hate shopping. My mother has to bribe me if she wants me to go to shopping with her.

* I sometimes have bouts of depression. Yeah I don't do self harm but I pity myself. Sometimes I am confident about myself, sometimes not.

* I don't believe in love. In fact I hate love. Its just fiction you know. It only happens in novels and movies. I don't want to ever get married.

* I want to be successful in life and make my parents happy and proud of me.

So that's all you need to know about me. This is my story , the story of how I slapped a person who who changed my live for ever.

Prologue : The Meeting

"Hey! You foolish crazy horse! Arrogant grasshopper! I said let us pass through this road. Its an emergency. And its far more important than your stupid proposal .", I said , exasperated.

Seeing the amused look on his face , I wanted to swipe the smirk from his face by pulling his lips out and rearranging his face.

"You have interesting animal metaphorical analogies, Miss"

"Are you even listening to me? Hey Mr rude ! "

"Please Continue whatever you are saying. I am not listening." , he casually said.

"yeah thank god I have your attention now. As I was saying that its an emer..." I stopped speaking as his words sank in..."Wait! WHAT???You are not listening!?? Hey wait!!"

It was an emergency. Someone's life was at stake here. Why couldn't he understand that? He is no GOD. He had no right blocking our way like this.

Slowly I tried to make him understand that,"Look I know its a special moment for you but we really have to pass. Someone's life is at stake here"

Looking up, I saw he had started walking away without listening to me.

That arrogant orangutan!!!!!!!

"How much arrogant can you be? I said it is an em.."

He cut me off in the middle, " And I am not interested to hear what you have to say!" And with that, he walked away.

Unable to control my anger and impatience, I swiftly walked towards him and stopped him by his arms.

Turning him around, I did something which would change my life for everything.

I slapped him.
