Ch 9 : I Won't Let Anything Happen To You
Rey was pacing outside the hospital room while doctors were treating her inside. His friends were also present there, once they got to know about her, they all rushed to hospital. Kriya & Vishakha were sitting silently in corner, praying to god, to make their plan successful.
Rey was staring at the door with unshed tears in his eyes. Just praying to keep his lives safe. He won't be able to live if anything happen to his taani & his baby.
"Don't worry, Rey, have faith in god. Nothing will happen to taani & baby." Swayum stepped forward and kept his hand on rey's shoulder.
"Off-course, nothing will happen to her. I know, god won't be tat cruel, right?" Rey whispered, absentmindedly, all his focus was on the door. He wanted to rush in and take her in protective shield of his embrace.
After half an hour, his wait finally came to an end when the door of room opened, and doctor stepped out of the room. Rey rushed to him.
"Doctor. Doctor, hows she?" Rey questioned him, he didn't cared how much desperate he sounded at the moment.
"She is alright so is your baby, Mr. singhania. It look like she had fallen down on her belly which caused pain & bleeding, but no harm come to the baby or mother. If you want, you can meet her, but make sure she doesn't stress over this, its not good in this condition." Doctor smiled warmly as she spoke.
"Thank you, doctor." Rey smiled through his tears, wasting no time in, he rushed inside the room while his friends stayed out, giving the privacy to the couple, because they knew, after whatever had happened, rey need some time alone with his wife.
Vishakha & Kriya exchanged glances, worried what will happen now.
"Vishakha, what now? What if she told him about us?"
"Nothing will happen, Kri. We will told we were out for shopping and she had no prove that we were with her in the room while we have proof that we went for shopping." Vishakha answered her, Kriya nodded and waited patiently while cursing taani, for taking away what was supposed to be hers.

In evening, Rey brought her home from hospital, Taani was unusually silent which he could understand since the earlier incident had shaken up. They were in their bedroom. She hugged him tightly and weeped silently, mentally thanking her got to keep her child safe.
"Thank you, Rey, if you hadn't came on time-" Taani cried, the mere thought of something happening to her child, shook her.
"Sh. Nothing will happen to you & our junior. I'll take care of you both till my last breath." Rey whispered, kissing her forehead. He broke the hug and sat beside her on the bed.
"How did you fall down?" Rey asked her, his brows knitted in confusion as she grew conscious under his gaze. He could tell she was hiding something.
"Taani, tell me everything. I want truth." Rey demanded, he cupped her face and made her look into his eyes.
"Vishakha & Kriya came in my room and.." Taani told him everything that happened today, in her room. By the time, she finished, his blood was boiling in anger. He wanted to ripped their head off who had tried to kill his child.
"Rey-" She knew what he will do in anger, she tried stopping him but he paid no heed to her and walked out of the room, his eyes darkened with rage building up inside him.
"Kriya!" He roared in angry voice, Soon all his friends came in drawing room, confused seeing him so angry. Rey walked over Kriya who was standing there with vishakha. The next thing he did, shocked everyone. Kriya felt as stinging pain in her cheek, her eyes popped out realizing he had really slapped her.
"Rey!" Swayum was astonished by his act, he stepped forward but rey glared at him.
"HOW DARE YOU, MS. KRIYA GHAI? HOW DARE YOU TRY TO KILL MY CHILD?" Rey roared like an angry lion, making her flinch back.
"What are you saying, Rey? We weren't even in house-" Vishakh interrupted, Rey glared at her.
"Don't you f**king dare to give me that excuse. Main had told me, you both went in taani's room." Rey growled at them.
"Taani told me how you both treated her, then pushed her on the ground and left her there to suffer-" He felt disgusted with himself, once he thought them to be his friends, but they were worse than enemies.
"Rey, I love you-" Kriya cried, tears of frustration rolled down her cheek.
"This is not love, Kriya, you tried to kill an innocent life in your so-called. You claimed to love me, but you were going to snatch away my happiness from me, this is what you call love? This is not love, this is obsession." Rey spoke to her, glaring down at her.
"But-"
"I don't need any explanation because no explanation can justify what you both did." Rey sneered at them.
"Tum toh pyaar ka matlab nahi samjhi, par ab mein tumhe nafrat ka matlab dikhaaunga. I'm not gonna leave you both easily, you tried harming my wife & the child growing inside her. You both will suffer-" Rey gritted his teethes in anger, He took out his cell phone and called the cop, not paying any heed to their pleadings.
"Rey, i know they did a mistake but now they have realized, forgive them. They are your friends." Sharon stepped forward and said to him.
"Forgive them? Really, sharon? Do you have any idea what i have went through when i saw my pregnant wife writhing in pain. I had went through hell all the while she was inside the hospital room. What they did is not a mistake, it was a crime, a pre-planned crime." Rey snapped at her. Sharon shut her mouth and stood there silently. Soon the cops came there and took Kriya & Vishakha away.
