Ch 7 : Nothing Can Break Us Apart
Taani was in kitchen eating chocolate cake since she was craving for it, it was early morning and no one was awake. She placed the left over cake back in fridge and washed her hands, when she sensed someone's presence behind her, she turned and let out a small gasp seeing Kria, standing there with blank look. Taani wiped her hands and turned to her.
"Kria! Aap yaha?" Taani asked her.
"Yeah! i was feeling thirsty-" Kria trailed off, Taani nodded in return. Awkward silence prevailed between them, it was first time taani was alone with his ex, and she has no idea how to start a conversation with her.
"So? How does it feel? Being his wife?" Kria questioned her, staring at her with curiosity, examining her expressions. She still couldn't believe the girl standing infront of her have everything she had ever wished for.
"It's beautiful feeling to have someone as awesome as him in life." Taani answered her with small smile, kria gave a curt nod in return, the burning ache in her heart was unbearable.
"So, did he told you about his past?" She couldnt help but question taani, she wanted to know if Rey had told his wife about her.
"Yeah! Rey never hide anything from me." Taani answerer happily, completely unaware of whats going on in Kria's mind right now.
"So you must be aware about his first love? It was me" Kria smirked mentally when she saw taani emotionless face.
"We were so close to each other, he was mad behind me. Would always do things to make me smile. You know, there was dazzling weakling war in our college, he was the dazzler Reyaansh and I was a weakling, but he would always help me, going against his friends for me. He was such a sweetheart! I miss those days-" Kria sighed heavenly as she finished, a dreamy smile was playing on her lips.
"Sorry, taani! I shouldn't have said all these, i didn't had intentions to hurt you." Kria apologized in sugary coated words, taani look at her and smiled softly.
"It's okay, Kria. I know all this happened in past and now, it hold no importance. Unhone past mein kya kiya, isse mujhe koi farak nahi padta. That was his past and, I'm his present & future. We have come so far in our relationship that, now these small-small things doesn't matter to us." Taani answered her, in confident yet polite manner. Kria forced a smile, her plan to make taani doubt Rey's love, was failed and being kria ghai, she hates defeat.
"Yeah-" She mumbled before she walked away from there. Taani shook her head, she understood what Kria was trying to do. But she doesnt know that taani & rey's relationship is not that weak, that her words could break it.

Rey opened his eyes, and the first thing he did, was checked her but frowned when he didnt found her beside him. He got up and went in balcony, knowing if she isnt not in room then she must be strolling in garden.
"Taani-" He called out for her loudly, he took a sigh of relief when his gaze fall over her, who was walking on grass barefeet. She looked up, a smile dazzled her lips which made him smile too. There was something in her smile, which stir something in him every time he saw her. It was divine, reflect pure innocence of his wife.
"I'm coming in 5 minutes." Taani told him, Rey nodded at her. Rey came in room, and walked inside the washroom to take bath.
After some time, taani entered her room and walked toward the washroom, she pushed the door open and entered inside.
Her throat went dry seeing her very naked husband in washroom when without realizing he is inside, she barged in.
"Sorry-" Her cheeks heated up, she avert her eyes and took a step back to leave but her husband was fast enough to react, he took hasty steps toward her and stopped her, holding her wrist.
"Since you are here, why don't you help me in shower?" Rey smirked as his innocent wife gasp at his words then turned beetroot red. He picked her up in his arms and took her inside the shower cubical.
"Rey, put me down!"
"No! And stop moving so much, we can slip, baby." Rey replied to her, He gently made her stand on her feet. Taani look at him with cute pout adoring her lips.
"You are getting naughtier day by day."
"Well, i'm not getting naughtier but you are getting unromantic." Rey state, he was teasing her but she took it seriously and stare at him with open mouth.
"Me & unromantic? I am not unromantic." Taani retorted back confidently.
"Really? Prove it." Rey told her, Taani's brow knitted in confusing, she raised her one brow at him, questioningly. Rey shook his head, he picked up the shower-gel bottle and gave to her.
"Help your hubby-" Rey whispered, he turned on the shower, she hugged him tightly as cold water drizzled over them. Rey cupped her face and placed his lips on hers, kissing her softly, making her comfortable. Rey broke the hug and look at her with soft smile. He undressed her them himself.
"I love you, sweetheart." Taani smiled, she stand on her toes and pulled him in another kiss, followed by a passionate, naughty shower together.
