I am glad to see the number of positive posts here after yesterday's episode...and the following is my contribution to keep our spirits high. 😊
Is Swara's behaviour really weird? 🤔
After watching the epi yesterday, I was pretty upset. I understood the doubt Swara would get seeing the evidence piling up against Sanskaar, but I did not like the way she handled the situation. To just assume he is guilty without thinking over or asking more questions was just too much to take.
Today morning, I watched the repeat and I have a different take on the situation. 😊
Was Swara really out of character in jumping to the conclusion that Sanskaar is the kidnapper? Not really, I feel, when you think over it. 😊
Swara is not yet in love with Sanskaar, while he is head over heels in love with her. His trusting her when all the evidence seemed against her is not surprising. Not only does he love her, but he knows what kind of a person she is. She is not the kind who would harm anyone, even her worst enemy. She forgives people who hurt her at the drop of a hat and the present situation involves Ragini, whom Swara loves unconditionally.
But it is not the same in Swara's case. She sees things which makes it look like Sanskaar is the culprit and she knows he is capable of it. He has a history of doing wrong when he can justify it, and he can be ruthless when the situation demands it. He is not sympathetic towards Ragini; they have had enough of disagreements over this. She sees him burn the blanket and then finds the receipt. She remembers other small things, like the drug. She jumps to the conclusion that Sanskaar has done it.
Thinking a little further, I feel that somewhere in her subconscious mind, she still holds Sanskaar responsible for everything that happened, and she is not really wrong in thinking so. Yes, he has apologized, helped her thru every difficulty and more than made up for the hurt he caused her. But there is still something that he has not been able to put right...the bond that Swara and Ragini had before everything blew up in their faces. It was not really Lakshya rejecting her that tipped Ragini over, not even the fact that he loved Swara instead, but the fact that Swara responded to Lakhshya's love for her. It was when Swara told her that she also loved Lakshya that Ragini changed towards Swara. And who was the cause? Sanskaar. He forced the situation with his revenge act and also involved Ragini in his plans. What happened later caused a rift in SwaRagini relationship. Swara's biggest happiness was her and her mom being accepted by her father and even that went for a toss. While the subsequent events and Sanskaar's penitence and support of Swara healed every breech, it still has not closed the chasm between Swara and Ragini. I feel that this is the prime reason Swara is in denial about her feelings for Sanskaar. 🤔
My hope is that what is coming is a redemption track for Ragini. I had initially thought Ragini is hand in glove with Lakshya in the kidnapping, but now I don't think so. I feel it was Lakshya's plan only (which surprises me a lot! 😲) and that Ragini is shell-shocked at what happened to her. This track will hopefully bring Swara and Ragini together again. I also wish that Sanskaar has a big hand in Ragini's redemption. Only Ragini's redemption and Swara and Ragini being together again will make his redemption complete. That is when Swara is going to realize Sanskaar's place in her life. His past has not finished with him yet, he has to pay some more for what he did. (This has been my pet theory always and I hold on to it! 😳)
Of course, the CVs are not dependable. 😳 They might throw a spanner in the works by making the MU big 😭, or the MU fake (Swara pretending to double Sanskaar) or keeping Ragini still negative (she is deceiving Swara). But until I see these things happen, I am going to sit back and enjoy the current track.

Sanskaar is the best male character of all the TV soaps I have watched so far, SwaSan chemistry I love with every romantic fiber in me, and Ragini is the first negative character I have been able to connect with...
