Natasha and Aftab in KTH tonight [thurs]

The lead pair from Ekta Kapoor's film Koi Aap Sa, Natassha and Aftab Shivdasani, will appear in her serial Kahiin To Hoga tonight.

Kapoor confirmed the news saying, "They will play their film characters Rohan and Simran on the serial. The scene has been shot cutely, keeping the mood of the film in mind; the characters will talk about friendship." Natassha and Aftab play best friends in Koi Aap Sa.

Ekta has used this marketing strategy before as well. Tusshar Kapoor made an appearance on a Balaji serial when his film Gaayab was due to release. Later, both Tusshar and Ritesh appeared on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi during the release of Kya Kool Hai Hum.

Commenting on the strategy, Kapoor says, "It definitely helps to create awareness. Kahiin To Hoga is a youth oriented serial and so is the film Koi Aap Sa…they are a good fit. The scene has been used in an interesting way and builds the friendship between Charu and Shyam. I don't know how much it will help the film but the scene definitely helps the story of Kahiin To Hoga."
