Natassha's favourite Kompanian

Two is company:
Natassha and her pug Kompany

When Natassha comes home after a hectic shoot, there's always someone waiting at her door to be hugged and kissed. The actress has an eight-month-old pug, named Kompany, who has become her best friend.

Always wanted a dog

For a long time, I was thinking of getting myself a dog. I had a Labrador before, but couldn't devote much time to him. Eight months back, I got Kompany from a friend of mine. He was so tiny and cuddly, I just fell in love.

In Kompany's company

I came up with the name because I knew he would give me company wherever I went. I love spending time with him, though I hardly get any due to my schedules. Ekta (Kapoor) suggested I name him with a K, so he's become Kompany.

Loves to chew

I bought him toys in the shape of balls that he loves to chew on for hours. He isn't too fussy about his food, and loves to chew sticks. Since we are vegetarians, I avoid giving him meat.

Royal treatment

Kompany has a special trainer who comes home thrice a week to give him exercise and take him for walks. I like to pamper him whenever possible.

Everyday, I wake up half an hour early and spend time with him. Once I banged the door on his face and went to the shower — he cried loudly for 20 minutes. I felt really bad, and since then, I try to take time out for him.
