Dutt As A Mod Kabuliwala?

9xe.com has it that Kahaani filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh met Sanjay Dutt during his month-long parole last month to star in a modern-day version of Kabuliwala.
Interestingly, Big B was Sujoy's first choice for the role but later he felt that Sanjay would be better suited for it.
Bollywood has seen a film on Kabiliwala in 1961 based on a story by Rabindranath Tagore. It was directed by Hemen Gupta.
Did Sanjay accept Sujoy's offer? "No, he told him that he will decide on Kabuliwala only after his jail term is over."
While Sujoy is in denial that he met Sanjay recently, we also hear that he is planning to mend fences with Vidya Balan and ask her to play the lead opposite Sanjay. For those who've come in late, Ghosh and Vidya had a big fallout when Vidya refused to star in his next movie Durga Rani Singh which he had planned after Kahaani.
Anyway, Sujoy is now anxiously waiting for February 2016, which is when Sanjay's jail sentence is likely to be over.
