Sunday Tamasha: Could SRK and Salman have done PK instead of Aamir?

😉 😳 PK was a big blockbuster and Aamir was awesome in this role. But couldn't help but think, could the other Khans have done this role? Maybe Salman, but can he do complex roles? SRK could have hammed. But I want to hear your take. Please share your thoughts. 😆

No.. Not the way aamir khan did the role.. I think the role really suited him because of how he looks.. His eyes and ears..

I can see srk doing a better job than Salman khan though..

But srk will never do a movie like pk..

U already said it.. One would have ruined it with hamming and another with non acting.. Up to u to guess who is who..😉😆

Not a huge fan of the actor aamir but he was awesome as PK.. (i like Aamir only for his brilliant script sense)

For one go back and watch that Bhagwaan Kahan hai tu song (its on YT) and then the scene that follows where he breaks down. It is unbeleavibly good. One of the greatest song sequences I have seen from BW; credit to Hirani and Sonu as well.

The biggest theme of the movie is the humanity of us humans. PK does the most human things; feels the most human emotions, of hope , belief, being in love, of despair and regret, to desperately want something and so on. Yet you see PK to stand out, you feel his strangness from you and the rest of humanity. Infact he is the most human of us all as irony would have it. On a sidenote if you think about it; that is what makes him stick out. This concept ever so subtley lingers in the background throughout. The complexity of it all is potrayed brilliantly by Aamir.

So, I don't think anyone could have done it. The effort and hardwork that muat have gone into creating PK must have been imense. To get into that shape and maintain it; learn the language for starters.

And then not blinking throught the movie and carry himself in the PK way. It would have required a hell of time and dedication.

Shahrukh has never done such characters and I dont think he ever will. His is too over the top in lmost of his movies and even those are limited to romance or lately masala. The only time I have seen Shahrukh act mature and is when ge has a good director to reign him in like Swades or CDI. The rest is just OTT jargon for the most part. Take his work in the last decade; its cringe-worthy.

And Salman; well I wont even go there.

No Aamir used his midget height and elf year to best use. to look alien. He made sure that even in promos, Anu looks way taller than him. And his ears r large.

Abt the movie, anu and aamir r locked in in same jail... arey nahhh, thats not allowed in even in Indian system. Aamir's constant paan chabawo looked so fake, arey yaar, khai ke paan banaras wala song ka kachra diya. Aamir wide open eyes... masha allah. Srk ne bhi bhi kita tha vaise,

I only watched in once FDFS on big screen, aamir was hiding his face duing that godman debate... blinks. 😆 Nah, it was the weakest film of Hirani and not even top in top 5 of aamir.

Who else can do it? Just change the role lil bit any superstar can can do it acc. their capabilities. Srk will do haklaa.. lallu wud learn some bhojpuri diaogs sity maro dialogs. , Hr wud train himself himself from Kamal Hasan how to do a midget...

They all have their fanbase. some do chinka cheeka and some do abhi mulhme kahi, and some change the light bulbs.

So OT_ even Ayushman cud have done the role.
