Sharmila was head of censor board that time
So its obvious she used her connection well

I think I would take out Kal Ho Na Ho and put Dil Chahta Hai there... May be because that was the first time I really really liked Saif Ali Khan in a movie... I never liked him before... and many of his later roles in rom coms reminded me of the DCH one...

And yeah him getting National award for Hum Tum has to be one of the biggest jokes in the history of National Award!!! Sharmila Tagore being in the Jury when her son was nominated itself was wrong!!!
