That day when every judge was praising tge duo for their act n chemistry, the two were busy on a flashback ride. Their first day of rehearsal hall.
FLASHBACK
Ashish P. O. V.
(In mind)
"THAT day when I entered the rehearsal hall of panthers I saw a doll practising ny art or should I saw our art as we all belong to same art that is, Dance. There were many practising in the hall but don't know why my eyes where sticked on only one figure. Her moves were so elite."
Punit sir entered the rehearsal room.
M. Punit-"so guys lets start with our introduction n then will start with some dance"
Soon started a formal intro section started. Yes a FORMAL one coz we all have met each other informally n why we shouldn't afterall we are a TEAM, TEAM PUNIT K PANTHERS.
First it was a boy who looked shy enough like me... "hi.. m pankaj"
Next was the one with whom I share my room I know him very well... he is Haroon
Next was a beautiful classical dancer Sadhvi.
N with that it was chance of the doll...
"Hi I'm Proneeta"
N lastly it was me "m Ashish "
Suddenly Punit sir's voice roared
"AND NOW YOU ALL ARE -- PUNIT K PANTHERS. Welcome to the family guys." With this he spread his hands for a group hug n we took a pic of group, sort of groupie.
Initially we all did warm ups n now it was time for dance for our first ever episode ,yes first episode!
M. Punit-"k so for our first act we will have sadhvi doing classical, haroon you will perform contortion n ashish n proneeta u will go in for a duo act."
With the word 'duo act' I felt something turn in mu stomach. This was the first time I was going in for a duo act that too with a girl, n that too one whom I was adoring minutes back.
Proneeta's P. O. V.
While I was dancing I saw a boy entering tge rehearsal hall. He looked kinda shy kind of boy. I saw him looking at me, well it was nothing special, as there are boys who look at me because they find me attractive. But ya the problem arises when anyone is busy checking me out,but with this boy it was something else. I didn't found him checking out me... then why was he looking at me?
Soon Punit sir came in n made us do a intro session thats when I came to know that the name of Mr. Shy is Ashish. Nice name.
Then Punit sir divided us into teams n I was paired with Mr. Shy only fory first act. I could see his expressions change at the mention of a Romantic act. No offence but he is Mr. Shy.
Punit sir suggested the song sun sathiya for our very first act.
I love this song,it has a certain essence in it which makes me tap my feet.
Now it was time for choreography. I was quite confident but abit nervous as I had to perform romantic act with a stranger. Ok not a stranger,a team mate but still he is a stranger to me coz I know completly nothing about him.
Punit Sir was giving us some quite loveable stances n steps but for some reason we were not able to get close enough ot comfortable enough to do it.
M. Punit-"Ashish aise nhi hold Proneeta more close to you."
A-"sir close hi toh h"
M. Punit-" ya close h na?" N with this he marched towards us n said, "pura ek haath ka distance hai n u say she is close! Like really?!?!? Romantic act kar rha hai k action ? Close le." N with this he brought me close to him.
" hold her like this afterall she is your partner. Proneeta you too look into Ashish's eyes. Bring that eye-contact, that chemistry."
FLASHBACK ENDS
Their trance was broken by Master Punit's voice, "sach kehta hu Grand Master inke bicjh main chemistry lane ki koshish krta rha but inme chemistry ka C bhi nhi aa rha tha. Steps kar rhe the,sink tha but vo baat nhi aa rhi thi mujhe toh laga tha ye performance dub jaywga but ye dekh k toh main bhi shocked hu."
G. M-"mujhe nhi pata apne ye kaise kiya bus sirf itna janta hu jo bhi kiya it was magical." N with this they got a Grand Salute.
Ashish n proneeta looked into each other's eyes.
FLASHBACK
JUST BEFORE STEPPING IN THE STAGE FOR THEIR PERFORMANCE...
"Proneeta" called Asish from back, "listen I know k I have not been great in rehearsal hall but this is OUR chance to prove ourselves. Isliye saari nervousnesa ko bhulake lets dance like one soul n not like two bodies."
Proneeta was stunned to hear this from Ashish. It was tge same thing she wanted to tell him.
P-"exactly. You are right. Lets do it. We will go on stage like Ashish n Proneeta but will dance like ASHNEETA."
A-"Ashneeta?"
P-"hmmm Ashish+Proneeta=Ashneeta. Simple."
Both smiled with this.
A-"so friends?" He forwarder his hand
P-"the best ones"
They shaked hand n came up on stage.
