Nice thread and some superb comments. Like someone said, this should be sent to the cast and the PH of DYM so that they know how much this show affected us.

Everyone, from the Ph, to the cast, director, script -writers, DOp, set and dress designers et all, deserves our kudos.

I don't belong to the category this show was directed at, but, believe me, DYM touched me as deeply and at all levels as it would have done a school- girl or a college student or a young executive. That was the beauty of this show that it cut across all age groups with its refreshing take.
The PH has to be admired for coming up with a show that was new in its concept and execution and choosing just the right actors to play the roles.

I just hope these young and talented actors don't succumb to pressures and take up saas-bahu type of serials just to remain in the race.
