Why is the BW forum more cutthroat than other forums?

Hey peeps! 😊

Just a fun topic to discuss- the BW forum is a war zone, to put it mildly. 😆

Why is it that the BW forum is not subject to heavy and strict moderation like the TV show forums? For someone who is used to those forums, the BW forum will be...well, a shock to say the least.

Why does IF let the BW forum get away with it and allow it to be such an entertaining place?

Comparison posts are loved, bashing is allowed, everything under the sun goes here. People are also allowed to be more blunt here than on other forums, which is refreshing to see.

C'mon, tell us why you love/hate the BW forum. What keeps you coming back?

Haha, I was like, 'hail the lazy mods of the BW forum', lol.

I think it's a refreshing change from TV forums which tend to be shrines of actors. 😆 Bashing is quite fun but sometimes it gets quite redundant which is annoying. Plus herd mentality is rampant here.

@bold- Shrines, hahhaha. 😆😆 That's so true. Topics get closed at the drop of a hat. Some mod-heavy forums are just unbearable to be in.

When I discovered the BW forum, I thought,"this is the section that the creators were high while making rules for, lol". Herd mentality is there all over IF.

The mods in TV forums are more active. They are available almost every time. If the thread been reported within 20 - 30 mins the mods will come into action unlike Bollywood forum mods. Hardly u will get to see any actions taken in BW forum.

& TV forums are restricted to the casts only. There u can't go out of the cast list & no personal discussion of the cast life. But here in BW forum u have so many celebs which u can discuss and also no restriction on personal discussion on the celebs except for their kids (no related to be).

Here u get to see more then 10 fan groups where it bound to be battle ground.

I think they purposefully let people run amok in the BW forum.😆 After all, there should be one corner of IF where the mods get to laze around.

TV forums are very sensitive places. One wrong word and you will offend an entire fandom. Oh wait, that happens here too. 😉 It's so much fun. I feel like a kid in a candy shop in the BW forum.

I like it better than the sugar coated forums tbh.

Highly Frustrated persons vent there frustration on something or other :-)

It gives there mind an opportunity to stop worrying about real issues and argue and win forcefully on issue which don't even matter them..

Forum is Addiction for those..
