Credit to Sri Lanka too. It always felt like their spinners would play a big role, and so they did. Hemantha bagged three, with Kamindu, Theekshana and Wellalage scalping a wicket apiece. Chameera was exceptional at the death too, especially with Pathirana absent and though this will not be a straightforward chase, SL will be chuffed chasing this score because at one stage, it looked like they would be chasing many more.

Travis Head: Yeah, I think so (would they have taken this score at the start). It looked like it slowed up in the second half of the innings. So, yeah, the powerplay was really important for us. As the innings goes on, hopefully it deteriorates. It’s always the easiest time to bat against the new ball. Nice to get off to a start and nice to have Mitch back. Partnership rolled along. One of us would’ve liked to go on with it, but that’s the game. we’ve got ourselves a score. I think you can see that there's a bit of spin there, and as the ball gets softer, so it all happens quickly. But, yeah, we've got a bit of time now to debrief that and communicate what we thought went well for them.

The umpires are making their way out to the middle followed by the players. Apart from Inglis, all the Australian players are carrying a white cloth. Bartlett is at the top of his mark and is going to start proceedings. We are ready to go..

Nathan Ellis to Kusal Mendis, SIX, shot! We saw Nissanka play a similar shot to Bartlett and now Mendis. The result is the same. 138.8ks fullish delivery angled in, Mendis maintains a solid base and whips it with a strong bottom hand over long leg

Aus-- 181

SL-- 34/1 after 3.4 overs.

Nathan Ellis to Kusal Mendis, no run, appeal for LBW. Ellis is down on his knees pleading. But umpire Ahsan Raza is not interested.

They lost review! Good.
