You know it's the way the article is written that might be a misrepresentation. Note the producer NEVER used the word fraternal. He must have been talking about slight environmental changes. Alike but a tad bit different. Kind of like idental twins not being but meaning not a 100 % identical but from one zygote, I think that is what the producer meant.
As for the medical people having a tizzy about it. I did as well, thus the poll I posted right after watching the first episode.
It's really easy to think they don't look alike and then dismiss the show as being wrong, but you have to think of the casting and what their limitations are. I mean within minutes of delivering twins in a high risk operation, the mother was walking without pain as if nothing happened. If you really analyze a lot of things don't make sense. But I think the way the article was written creates more drama. I wouldn't be so harsh on the director about this point, unless you heard him quote about the research using the word fraternal.
