If Ambar and Dhara are conjoined twins then why are they not identical?😕
As children they were but when they showed adult faces, both were so different.

In reality conjoined twins are always (almost) identical.

As kids most identical kids look very much a like, but when they grow older because of changes in the environment, like they may like different foods, etc, they start to look different from one another, maybe thats why.

Only Fraternal twins look different. Identical twins look similar, if not same, even when they grow up. In this case they are conjoined so they should be identical. There is no way conjoined twins would look so different.

The writer took creative liberty😊.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. Conjoint twins are always monozygotic..

By defn 🤓 - http://multiples.about.com/od/conjoinedtwinsfaq/f/conjoinedt win_a.htm

Conjoined twins are monozygotic multiples that do not fully separate from each other due to the incomplete division of the fertilized ovum. The individuals will be connected at certain points of the body, and may share tissue, organs or limbs.

Food habits cannot change the appearance so drastically. I wish they picked identical twin sisters to perform the roles 😳

Conjoined twins results when there is late monozygotic (one zygote) splitting. Identical twins are formed from one zygote too. So there cannot be any exception😊.

They were as children but as adults they are two entirely different people which is impossible in conjoined twins😊.

I would have prefered an identical looking twins as leads but I guess here they are going to show both falling for same man in future and the man selecting one, most probably Dhara which will cause resentment between sisters.

Maya......thanks for the topic. That was the reason for the poll I started at the start of the show. But I think this is more of a casting issue. Take a look at the poll.

Do Amber&Dhara look like identical twins

I voted for No.😊 Thanks Acqua for posting that link.

As I mentioned earlier I think they wanted different girls because that would make a difference in future.
