Ranbir - Alia's Super Hero Movie Deferred to Next Year

Ayan Mukerji, after the success of 2013's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', is getting ready for his next film but now it will be facing delays thanks to his best friend and male lead Ranbir Kapoor.
Kapoor's dates have all been taken up this year and it seems it is the superhero film that will suffer as a result. The actor will soon start shooting for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' in September now that he has completed Tamasha'. After that, he is expected to get busy with the release of Jagga Jasoos' opposite his alleged ladylove Katrina Kaif.
This could mean that the superhero film will probably go on the floors mid 2016 for a 2017 release.

Thought so. When Ayan was leaving the ABCD2 success party, Varun asked him to tell the press when his next film was releasing and he sad Nov 2017. Hopefully it gets shelved in the process.

This movie will never get made, at least it won't get made with Alia in it.

I hope this gets shelved along with the Dutt biopic. Superhero movies in BW rarely work and I have no desire to watch Dutt being portrayed as a victim instead of a criminal.

Ranbir and Alia plus superheroes?...just no.

I think Ayan should just make something else.
