This is very interesting.

They are both around the same age and came out around the same time.

And were definitely fierce rivals in the 90s.

During the 90s Manisha did her best work (1942, Bombay, Khamoshi, Dil Se), but then post 2002 Urmila came out with Bhoot, Tehzeeb, Ek Hasina Thi, Pinjar, Naina and had the better run.

If you asked me in 2002, I would say Manisha. But now it's pretty equal.

Urmila Any day better of coarse ! i can never forget her climax scenes in Bhoot and pYar tune Kya Kiya

also she was amazing in Pinjar.

Manisha Had so much promise as an actress. But she is a terrible dancer and she spoiled it all with her addiction problems

Poor Mannu had to dance with Madhuri in Lajja and stormed off sets in floods of tears when Mads tried to simplify the steps for her. 😭

Urmila is by far the most talented in dancing, she was adept at pulling off the most vulgar dance costumes & moves without ever looking vulgar. Exactly like Helen.

But both Urmila & Manisha are very under-rated as actresses, ESP Urmila!!!! They both need to come to the screen esp seeing the lifeless dolls we have currently like Shraddha Kapoor. 😭

But I was never a fan of Helen. She's so vulgar dude! Just look at Yeh Mera Dil. 😆

I love Helen ..i don't think she looked vulgar at all in Yeh Mera Dil...but REALLY SEXY! She pulled off the song way better in the 70s than Bebo did in the new DON.. (Watch Karle Pyar of Helen...you'll know...she wore such a skimpy dress but yet managed to look classy and also sexy)..
