Every season since Colors took over has had the usual hyped contestants and the rest that just fade into the wallpaper/bide their time...the likeability factor is generally low for the non "superstars"

But after a long time they've got a good mix of LIKEABLE contestants, not simply stars thrown in for their star value. And that sincerity that I'm sensing this time is also the most I've seen since Colors took over the show...last time I got a glimpse of it was in the Sony season with Sushant.

Since then every season on Colors had hit or miss contestant-choreo mixes like Shibani-Puneet, Darsheel etc.

This time (ignoring the lame gags in the scripting), speaking for the contestants themselves, I don't them find them as PUT ON as a lot of the others have been recently...to sum it up, I can bear them better😆...

Not to say I still don't forward some acts that I'm not going to mention here to avoid starting fanwars😆...but there is no one I am super put off by...barring Dipika maybe.

Re: Sanaya and Vivian...lol well that's just stating the obvious...ofcourse I expect them to be carried on far into the show for multiple reasons😆...But I'm liking the work of many of the other contestants-choreos as well...usually that doesn't happen...only 1-2 contestants have been bearable each of the previous seasons to me😆

Oyeee Nureat...🤗
So You started Watching Jhalak...??
yes this Times Jhalak seems to be much much Better ..hence I asked you If you are following it or not...

I agree with you the Last Jhalak that I seriously followed was of Sushant's , He and Shampa had really taken jhalak to some other level in that Season...post that I have been on n off...supporting puneet lauren , puneet Shibani , Deepak -Sofie , Ashish -Shampa...
The whole gimmicky ,Overrating and importantly no seriousness towards dance use to put me off..
But this season I see that sincerity...the will to do better and moreover the contestants are some who actually wan to give their Best...

I so wish Soumya was paired with Faisal...We would have got a chance to See Soumya...Ohh How much I miss our DID lil masters ranting...😆

Also, are you trained professionally in any dance form? Just curious.

Haha, that's really sweet thank you!
I trained for a few years in street+lyrical jazz. I didn't reach the level professionals do but I got the basic technique training :)

Yes this is the first time I'm watching a dance show so closely so everything looks the same to me 😆

Thanks for the post again😃

Haha don't worry about that. It was the same for me. In that regard, I used to love the vintage Jhalak. It assigned the contestants one form per week and I guess the judges could also do their homework accordingly. Their feedback helped me understand the intricacies and nuances of different dance forms. And watching them over and over in different shows has now helped me tell them apart.
Thanks again for your kind words :)
