Aarambhi’s Wake-Up Call: Why the Queen Needs to Reclaim Her Crown 👑

Friends, the writing this week has been giving me major whiplash. 😵‍💫 While some moments were awesome, the overall character logic fell apart. Aarambhi is supposed to be the rightful queen of this show, but this week, it was as if she brought a butter knife to a gunfight.

The slap was top-tier! 💥 We have all been waiting for Aarambhi to finally lay hands on Avantika, and seeing her rough her up was satisfying. However, the satisfaction ended right there because Aarambhi approached the entire confrontation without a plan. 😓

1. The Sudden Drop in Intelligence ⬇️

How can the writers expect us to go from seeing the brilliant mother who hung off a building, chased down a kidnapper, and planned a termite infestation in Avantika’s room, to the woman we saw this week? 🤔 So the writers really want us to believe that her grand plan was to tell Vishwas about the kidnapping and assume he would kick Avantika out of the house. It made her look weak and naive. It was a massive drop for her character, and it allowed Avantika to completely overpower her verbally and bring her to the floor.

2. She Already Had the Evidence

The most frustrating part is that Aarambhi should have known who she was dealing with by now. She didn't need Avantika to give her a reality check. If we look back at the show's timeline, the red flags were already right in front of her:

🚩The Holi Party: Aarambhi literally overheard Vishwas planning the colors crisis. She knew his malice firsthand.

🚩The Engagement Party: After she chased the kidnapper, she explicitly noted that Vishwas asked no questions about the criminal, refused to check the CCTV footage, and spent the rest of the night curled up in bed with Avantika instead of questioning why the kidnapper was outside the home. Plus, she was aware that Vishwas used her mother just to get her out of the house.

Since she already observed him acting unfazed to his own son's safety, her dramatic, heartbroken reaction to Avantika's revelation felt forced. Why is she acting completely blindsided now? It feels as though her character is being written by multiple writers who do not communicate with one another, causing her to come across as soft and helpless. I agree that the news should have made her react with surprise, but falling to the floor was melodrama. Girl, get up! You knew Vishwas was shady. You always knew his reaction to his son's kidnapping was off.

If Aarambhi's ultimate goal has always been to protect Vihaan and keep her son with her, then the truth about Vishwas should not have brought her to the floor in tears. That breakdown looked like the reaction of a woman who genuinely thought she could fix her marriage.

3. The Contradictory Dialogue

Furthermore, Aarambhi said something entirely ridiculous to the woman who has been sleeping with her husband. She actually told Avantika that at first, she could understand the affair because "maybe it was love, and she can understand love." This line made me cringe. Why are the writers humanizing a woman who is actively trying to destroy Aarambhi's life and take her child?

4. The "Brand" and How to Fight Back

And don't get me started on Avantika hyping Vishwas up as a "brand." A brand?! Calling him a brand was a stretch by the writers to make him seem untouchable to the audience.

But fine, since Avantika wants to talk about his precious "image, brand, best doctor, best husband" nonsense, Aarambhi needs to focus on proving every single one of those things wrong. Two can play dirty! If I were her, I would start making it look like he is beating and abusing me. Paint the worst possible picture of him to the public. Make it look like he’s toxic, abusive, and doesn't care about his own son. Destroy that precious, fake "brand" from the inside out!

5. Raj's Wedding… Distraction or a Golden Opportunity?

Instead of focusing on the mess Aarambhi just created, the show is pivoting straight into Raj’s wedding. Raj is a nice young man, and he occasionally speaks up for Aarambhi, but let’s be honest: he does not have the backbone to stand up to his brother, and he will always choose the Tandon family over his sister-in-law. I know it is typical in ITV for the female lead to care about everyone else's affairs, but Aarambhi needs to focus on her own burning house before trying to fix anyone else's.

That being said, I really hope she uses this wedding track as a golden opportunity to shut Vishwas down. And I say Vishwas specifically, because honestly, the main fight shouldn't even be with Avantika. Everything is Vishwas' fault… he is the one who brought Avantika into their lives and started this madness. If Vishwas is taken out of the equation, then making Avantika fall right behind him should be easy. Our girl needs to take them both out, starting with him.

Final Thoughts

In a way, I am glad Avantika opened her eyes because Aarambhi was acting weak and needed the wake-up call. Now she finally knows the monsters she is dealing with. We are all happy she got the phone, and we loved the slap, but the writing consistency needs to step up. Our queen needs to stop playing herself, remember who she is, and start fighting smart.

What do you all think? Am I missing something, or did Aarambhi completely play herself this week by forgetting everything she already knew about Vishwas? How do you think she’s going to end this mess? Drop your thoughts below!
