Distance couldn't make the love birds separate. In fact the bond between them strengthened more. Rishabh secretly met Madhu in Pune several times. Madhu started studying at a prestigious university in Pune. She loved kids & wanted to become a teacher like her grandmother.
Madhu introduced Rishabh to her grandma as a friend. But she couldn't hide anything from her grandmother. Her grandmother could figure out what was happening around with Madhu's behavior. She knew that her granddaughter was in love with someone. She didn't inquire directly, but eventually she sensed that Rishabh was more than a friend to Madhu. Finally Madhu revealed her love story to her grandmother.
Madhu was fortunate enough to have an understanding grandmother. She blessed both of them. Madhu explained that how her family used to treat her & how anxious she is to reveal about their affair to her family. Her grandmother assured that she will take care of everything. She promised that she will convince her parents.
Finally Madhu made Rishabh meet her grandmother. She was quite impressed. She realized that Rishabh was the ideal partner for Madhu. According to her Rishabh is a gem of a person, who would keep her granddaughter Madhu happy throughout her life time. Rishabh was happy to meet her. But her grandma pointed out that before all, Madhu should complete her studies successfully & start her career. She promised that she would make her grandma proud.
It was Rishabh & Madhu's first anniversary as love birds. Rishabh decided to surprise Madhu on their anniversary. Madhu sent him a text at sharp 12 midnight. She was impatiently waiting for a reply from him but there wasn't any. It made her a little bit disappointed. She took his photograph which was hidden under her pillow.
'Happy anniversary Rishu.' He placed a kiss on the photograph. She held it close to her heart, almost hugging it.
'I miss you so much. Wish I could meet you. But I know that you are focused on something that is important for our future.'
Rishabh has applied for a university in Australia to complete his masters. He was busy with the admissions in the past few weeks so Madhu didn't bother him much. But she missed him so much. She spent most of her time talking to Rishabh's photograph.
Meanwhile Rishabh was working on his master plan to surprise his Madhu on their anniversary. He pretended to be busy all the time to make Madhu feel that he has forgotten their anniversary. Rishabh got her text sharp 12 midnight but deliberately didn't reply her.
'Happy anniversary Madhu.' 'I know you miss me, but just a few more hours to go! I will give a surprise that you won't forget for your life time!' Rishabh smiled.
It was almost evening. Madhu was impatiently waiting for a reply from Rishabh. She was worried & dialed his number numerous times but there wasn't any answer. Finally she decided to text again but again there wasn't any response. Madhu was highly disappointed. How dare can he forget today? Rishu! I will kill you if you forget our anniversary. It's almost 5 pm, just a few hours left to end the day! Madhu was frustrated.
Madhu was alone at home. Her grandmother has gone on a 2-day pilgrimage & will be returning back tomorrow evening. Her neighbour, a middle aged lady used to come at night because she was all alone at home.
Madhu heard a knock at the door. She had a little doubt if Rishabh would come to meet her. Unfortunately her hopes were crushed. It was her best friend Neha who has come to meet her. Neha is her batch mate & best friend whom Madhu met after coming to Pune. Neha was a fun loving girl & also a caring friend. She was aware of Rishabh & Madhu. She became a good friend of Rishabh.
'Baby!!' She hugged Madhu.
'Why you seems to be sad? did you expect anyone else?' Neha winked.
'Hmm..' Madhu sighed.
'Happy anniversary Madhu! So tell me! what did my future brother in law gifted you hmm?' Neha was all excited.
'Nothing!' Madhu replied in a dull tone.
'Why baby?'
'He has forgotten it!'
'What? what happened Madhu?' Neha was worried for her friend.
'Yeah. He didn't even reply my message. Not a single text or a call from him. I think he has forgotten it.' Madhu was feeling desolated.
'Typical guys! They don't remember important days!' 'I tell you it by experience!' Neha chuckled.
'Shall I call him & knock some sense to him?' Neha spoke in mischievous manner. She didn't want to see her best friend in pain.
'I don't think it would work out Neha. I think he is busy. He told me that he is gonna be busy for several days with his admission work.' Madhu replied.
Neha wanted to cheer her up. She came up with a plan.
'Baby get ready! let's go shopping!'
'Now?'
'Yeah! come on Madhu! we couldn't hang out freely for a long time. Let's have some fun. That will fix your mood too. Nani is not here na? you can stay at my place tonight!'Neha was speaking like a machine.
'Neha seriously? But I'm not in a mood though' Madhu replied.
'You better get ready now before I kill you missy!' Neha almost threatened her.
'Okay okay!' Madhu agreed with a smile.
Madhu heard the telephone ringing while she was getting ready.
'Neha! please answer it. I think it's Nani.' Madhu asked Neha to answer it.
'Hey Nani! it's me Neha here.'
'Yeah! I came to see Madhu. She is doing fine.'
'Nani, if you don't mind please can I take Madhu to my place tonight?'
'Yeah. Don't worry I will drop her back early in the morning.'
'OMG really! thank you so much! you are so sweet!'
Madhu heard Neha replying her grandmother. She was shouting with excitement.
'Nani! please take care yourself. Don't worry about Madhu. I will look after her well!'
'Neha???' Madhu called her friend. She has decided everything before her.
'Okay bye!' 'Take care. Love you' Neha ended the call.
'Yay! she gave us permission!' 'OMG she is so sweet!'Neha was dancing around the living room.
'What? did she say yes?'
'Yeah Madhu!'
'You know what? she asked me not to keep a single step out of the house till she comes!' Madhu was surprised with her grandmother's reply.
'Yeah she did! she gave permission baby!' ' Why she should worry when you are with me?' Neha winked.
'She should worry before all! How sweetly you convinced her? Nani gave permission because you are so good to her! But I only know how much crazy & mischievous you are!' Madhu chuckled.
'Don't worry baby! You know I'm your guardian angel!' Neha giggled. Then they both shared a laughter. Neha could cheer up her mood soon.
Madhu informed her neighbour that she is going to her friend's place to stay over. Finally the two girls stepped out of the house. They reached the shopping mall after half an hour.
It was almost 6 pm. They started roaming around the shopping mall. Since it was a weekend it was crowded. Neha dragged her to so many shops. Neha was trying out dresses. Madhu used to choose them & comment on them after she fits them on. The besties had a really nice time at clothing stores.
'Madhu? aren't you gonna buy anything else? You just bought a top only. Come on! let me select a dress for you!' Neha pulled her hand.
'No way! I'm fed up of trying out stuff. I couldn't find anything that reached up to my satisfaction.' Madhu replied.
'Okay then! come on! let's go & eat something. It's almost 7:30!' Neha hurried to the nearby cafeteria.
'7:30? isn't it late? your mom will scold us!' Madhu was worried.
'Just don't worry! I'm here! Mommy knows. I informed her that we will get late to come.' 'Come on Madhu! we are 18 years now. Why to fear? we are not freaking babies!' Neha teased her.
When they were walking towards the cafeteria a gift shop was spotted by Madhu.
'Neha one minute! I wanna go there.' Madhu stopped her midway.
'As you wish ma'am!' Neha winked.
They went inside the gift shop. Madhu was looking for a gift for Rishabh. She wanted to gift him something special even though he has forgotten it. While looking around for gifts, a special one was spotted by her. It was a wind chime. She was staring at it for a while. It was hanging in a corner & she just gave it a slight touch. It started to twirl, producing a melodious sound. It was so soothing. Madhu was attracted to it at once.
This is the perfect gift for Rishu! She thought. When it is with him, he will feel my presence.
'Wow what a romantic gift!' Neha commented on it. Finally Madhu purchased a memorable gift for her Rishabh. They came out of the store. Suddenly Neha remembered something & wanted to go upstairs.
'Hey Madhu! I couldn't buy something urgent! Will go to the 2nd floor & come back soon. Just stay here okay?'
'What? what is it? I shall come too.'
'No! you just wait here. I will be back in 5 minutes.'
Neha went up. Madhu was waiting for her. After a few minutes she felt that someone covered her eyes with a hand. Madhu was about to scream, then her mouth was covered too. She was shocked & scared at the same time.
'Shh.. it's me.' Someone whispered to her ear. It was a familiar voice. It was none other than Rishabh.
'You??' Madhu was astonished.
'What did you think? that I would forget it?' Rishabh winked, cupping her face.
'Rishu!' 'How? how did you come here?' Madhu asked with a surprise.
'Details later! let's go now!' Rishabh put one arm on her shoulder.
'Where?'
'It's a surprise!'
'But wait! I can't leave Neha here. She came here with me.'
Then she heard a beep in her mobile. A text message has been received.
'Madhu! just check it.' Rishabh winked. Madhu was confused. She followed Rishabh's instructions & checked her mobile. It was a text from Neha.
Hi Madhu, My part of Rishabh's master plan surprise is over now! Now go with him. He will drop you at my place at night. Take care!'
'What?' Madhu was dumbstruck. Rishabh asked her to look up. Madhu saw Neha waving them from the balcony. She gave a thumbs up. Rishabh too gave her a thumbs up signal, thanking her on helping out him on his surprise for Madhu.
Rishabh explained Madhu how he carried out his plan with Neha. Neha was instructed to bring Madhu to the shopping mall, where Rishabh can meet her. Madhu was genuinely happy to hear about it. She realized how lucky she is to have a partner like Rishabh in her life.
Rishu! where are we going?' Madhu was excited.
'Just a minute! we are already there' Rishabh winked.
Finally they reached the destination. Rishabh helped Madhu to get down from his SUV. He blindfolded her.
'Rishu what are you doing?' Madhu was fidgeting her hand.
'Shh.. just wait patiently till we go there!'
Rishabh accompanied Madhu to the place where he had arranged the surprise candle light dinner for Madhu. It was a restaurant situated near a lake. He reserved a special table at the outdoor section which is near the late, a bit away from the restaurant in order to save their privacy.
'Tadaa... here you go!' Rishabh removed the blindfold. Madhu blinked twice to adjust her eyes for the light. It was a table for two, decorated with scented candles & roses. Madhu was blown away with the wonderful surprise. They enjoyed a scrumptious dinner, feeding each other. It was indeed a romantic candle light dinner with romantic soft music in the background.
'Guess what? now it's the gift time!' 'Close your eyes Madhu.' Rishabh spoke huskily.
'Hmm so many surprises! I'm all excited Rishu!' Madhu closed her eyes.
'Now you may open your eyes.'
'What is this?' Madhu saw a wrapped box on the table.
'Open it!' Rishabh winked.
Madhu slowly started unwrapping it. She was astonished by the very next sight. She couldn't believe her eyes. It was the same kind of gift which she selected for Rishabh, a beautiful wind chime.
'OMG! Rishu!' She was dumbstruck.
'Like it?' He winked.
'I love it!' Madhu held it & it was twirling, producing a melodious sound, to the wind.
'Happy anniversary Madhu.' Rishabh cupped her face.
'Happy anniversary Rishabh. Can't thank enough of the things you have done for me!' 'I love you.'
'I love you too.' Rishabh placed a soft kiss on her hand.
'So now where is my gift?' He winked.
'You won't believe it Rishu!' She pulled out a box from her handbag & placed on the table. Rishabh was surprised when he unwrapped it. It was a wind chime again.
'Madhu.. Madhu how how is this possible?' 'I mean how did you get my idea?' Rishabh was pretty much amazed.
'Because we are connected by souls.' Madhu spoke delightedly.
'This wind chime will make you feel my presence when you are away from me Rishu.'
'Hmm yeah. And you will feel the same. But I won't miss you.'
'Why?'
'Because you are always in my heart.' He caressed her face lovingly. Madhu smiled.
Then Rishabh & Madhu went for a walk near the lake side. It was chilly. The cool breeze soothed their minds. Madhu clung to Rishabh, he put his coat over her to keep her warm. One of his protective arm was wrapped around her. The silent waters in the lake was shining silver with the reflection of the moon. The atmosphere was calm and serene.
'Rishu..'
'Hmm?'
'I love this place. This is so beautiful & peaceful.'
'Hmm yeah, that's why I selected this place where we can spend some quality time alone.'
Wind was blowing and it almost messed Madhu's open hair. She was struggling to clear her face which is covered by strands of her hair. Rishabh slowly cleared them.
Rishabh made Madhu sit on a near by wooden bench. 'Madhu will you close your eyes once again?' He requested.
'What Rishu? why again?' She was confused.
'Please! like a good girl close your eyes.'
'Hmm okay okay!' Madhu agreed. Rishabh knelt down her & held her hands. He placed a soft kiss on Madhu's hand. She felt like an electric shock running down her spinal cord. The romantic atmosphere & coldness boosted her feelings.
'Madhu please open your eyes.'
Madhu opened her eyes & she was surprised once again. Rishabh pulled a small box from his pocket & opened it. There was a beautiful diamond ring inside it.
'Madhu I love you! Will you marry me?'
Madhu's eyes were filled with happy tears. She was speechless. She covered her face with her hands, with extreme excitement.
'Madhu will you be my wife?' She nodded with extreme happiness.
'Madhu will you be the mother of my kids?' Rishabh proposed in a romantic way. Madhu was running out of happy tears. She didn't expect that he would propose her on their anniversary.
'Yes Rishabh. I love you!' Madhu nodded. Rishabh put the ring on her finger. Then he kissed her hand. Madhu hugged him tightly. Rishabh hugged her back. A silence crept between them. A silence mixed with so many emotions, extreme happiness & romance. They were hugging each other for such a long time. They felt each other's warmth.
Suddenly Madhu felt something wet & cold on her face. Rain drops started wetting her slightly.
'Rishu. It's raining. Let's go!' Madhu broke the hug.
'So let it be! let's enjoy this romantic mausam.' He winked.
'Rishu! see it's gonna rain heavily.' Madhu punched him playfully.
'Madhu! it's just not a mere rain. God is blessing us.' Rishabh smiled.
'Oh really? when did you start getting those philosophical ideas huh?' 'Anyway it's so cold. Let's get in to the car. It's getting late too. Neha must be waiting for me.'
'Madhu why in a hurry? don't worry I will drop you on time.'
'On time? what time is it Mr. Kundra? see the time! it's almost 10 pm!' Madhu showed her watch.
'Hmm so I have only spent 2 hours with you.'
'Isn't that enough?' Madhu chuckled.
'No way! I wish I could keep you in my arms for more.' Rishabh pulled her close from waist.' Madhu was blushing. She pushed him away playfully.
The rain has already started wetting them. Madhu couldn't wait anymore. She wanted to run to a shelter. She was about to run & was about to slip. Rishabh held her on time. They shared an intense eye lock. Rain droplets were running down both of their faces.
'Be careful Madhu.' He wrapped his arms around her protectively & accompanied her to his SUV. It was raining heavily. They were almost drenched. Finally they got inside the SUV.
'Shit! it's raining heavily. We could have spent some more time there.' Rishabh sighed.
'I heard the weather forecast today. It was correct. It said heavy thunder showers are expected tonight.' Madhu replied.
Finally Rishabh started driving towards Neha's home. It was about 30 miles away.
'Rishabh? where are we going?' Madhu was confused as she noticed that it was a different route.
'This is an alternative route. Just trying to avoid the traffic at the city.' He replied.
'Traffic? at this hour? are you nuts? it's 10 in the night!'
'So? Madhu did you forget? it's a Saturday night!'
'Oh. So you want to drop me home soon?' Madhu smile sarcastically.
'No! it's the other way round.' Rishabh winked.
The route Rishabh chose was almost flooded. The road wasn't much in a good condition either. Suddenly the vehicle started wobbling & suddenly the engine went off.
'Rishu? what happened?' Madhu was worried.
Rishabh tried to re start the engine several times but failed. He got down from the vehicle & opened the bonnet. Madhu was inside the car worried. She got down. It was still raining heavily. Half of the length of the tires were covered with water due to the floods.
'Rishu? what's wrong?'
'Don't know Madhu. Something wrong with the engine. May be because we drove in the water. It's not good for the engine.'
'Oh no! what can we do now?'
'Let me call the emergency break down assistance.' Rishabh dialed but failed to connect the call due to the lack of signals. He tried 4 times but result was the same. He dialed Neha's number to check whether if they can get any help, but couldn't connect either. All the networks were jammed due to heavy rain.
It was all dark, there wasn't a single street light. The head lights of the vehicle was the only light source. Suddenly a lighting bolt flashed in the sky. A thunder struck with a loud noise. Madhu hugged Rishabh tightly with fear. It was raining cats & dogs. They soon got inside the car.
Madhu heard the rattling sound of the rain drops colliding with the vehicle roof. Lightning bolts were flashing time to time. 'Rishu I'm scared.' She held his hand tightly.
'I'm sorry Madhu. I would have driven in the normal route.' Rishabh sighed.
'It's okay Rishu. As long as we are together, I feel safe.' She clung to him.
He wrapped one arm around her. Madhu was shivering in cold. He cupped her face.
'Madhu? are you feeling cold?' He asked in a husky voice.
Madhu nodded shivering. He came more closer to her. A strand of hair was glued to her wet face. He cleared it slowly. His fingers ran through her wet hair. Madhu closed her eyes. Her heart was pounding. She felt that something powerful was forming inside her. An unexplained romantic feeling boosted her.
He tilted his head & came more closer. There was only a few inches left between their faces. Both of them could almost feel their cold breath. They were so close that they could almost hear each other's heart beats. Within no time their lips met each other.
Rishabh almost smudged her lipstick. He held her more tightly. Both of their fingers started running through each other's hair. They were kissing each other passionately. It almost gave Madhu goosebumps. His tongue touched hers, lustfully. Their sensory glads were moaning with pleasure. Both of them started enjoying this luscious encounter. They broke apart with the shortness of air & then resumed their passionate kissing sensation.
Madhu blushed embarrassingly. Rishabh smiled. 'How was it?' He winked.
'Wonderful!' Madhu spoke shyly.
'I love you Madhu.' Rishabh placed a kiss on her forehead. 'I love you too Rishabh.' She hugged him tightly. 'Please keep loving me like this forever!'
'I will Madhu. Forever & always' He whispered.
'Rishu.. it's too cold.'
'Hmm.. let me keep you warm.' He winked. Again he started kissing her passionately. Within a few minutes, they settled themselves in the back seat. Rishabh adjusted it by 180 degrees & made it almost a bed.
'Madhu...' He started removing her earrings. He caressed her hair. Madhu put her arms around his neck. Madhu couldn't express her feelings towards him. Her eyes were filled with happy tears.
Rishabh was looking at her with anticipation. Madhu understood it. Both of them wanted to lost in each other's worlds. Both of them were longing to be in each other's arms. Madhu nodded agreeing with a smile.
Rishabh came more closer. Madhu closed her eyes. He started kissing her lips, slowly yet passionately. Madhu enjoyed it thoroughly & started kissing him back. Both of them felt the burning sensation between their lips. Their romantic feelings were boosted with the effect of the striking hormones. Madhu's fingers went through his hair. They broke for some air & soon resumed.
Rishabh started undressing her. He slowly removed her top which is almost drenched. He planted kisses on her bosom. He kept staring at her bare upper body. Madhu was blushing. He unbuttoned her shirt soon. His masculine figure drove her crazy. Within no time, they released themselves from clothes. He almost ripped off her undergarments.
His burning desires were making him impatient. Soon he started showing her wet kisses from head to toe. It gave Madhu a tickling sensation. Her heart was beating fast. Their naked bodies collided with each other. They felt each other's warmth.
'Madhu...' Rishabh cupped her face. 'I..'
Madhu knew what was he going to ask. She nodded permitting to enter her. She spread her legs wide. He settled himself between her legs. Soon they became one.
It was painful for Madhu, but gave an immense pleasure for Madhu. She was no longer a virgin. It was their very first physical encounter. Both of them enjoyed it thoroughly. They indulged in a romantic love making session. They moaned each other's name with pleasure.
It was a wonderful treat for both of them. They enjoyed each other's company. Madhu had tears in her eyes. Rishabh almost drank her tears, kissing her passionately.
'Madhu.. is it paining too much, hmm?' Rishabh was worried. Madhu moved her head signalling no. 'These are tears of love' She whispered. He resumed kissing her passionately to divert her from the pain of the sexual intercourse.
Both of them set each other's bodies on fire. Madhu too was rubbing his back passionately. They parted their bodies for a while. They were panting hard. It had burned almost a lot of calories. He pulled her more closer to him & wrapped her in his arms.
'I love you Madhu.'
'I love you too Rishu. Please keep loving me like this, for the rest of my life.' She whispered.
'So you enjoyed it?'
Madhu nodded shyly.
'I promise you Madhu. I will keep you happy forever. I won't let you shed a single tear & I won't let nobody come between us.' He assured.
'Not even our kids?' Madhu chuckled.
'Hmm good point Madhu. But our kids will surely get to know how much possessive their daddy is.' Rishabh winked. He planted another kiss on her cleavage.
'Rishu?'
'Hmm?'
'Whom do you want first? a baby girl or a boy?' Madhu asked shyly.
'A million dollar question!' He chuckled. ' Of course, our first would be a baby girl, just like you.' He smiled.
' I thought you will like a baby boy!' Madhu made a face.
'Haven't you heard Madhu? fathers always love daughters.' Rishabh winked.
'But not in my life.' Madhu sighed. Rishabh covered her mouth. 'Shh.. let's not talk about it Madhu.'
'Anyway it's okay. Even if it's a daughter or son. After all it's our child.' Rishabh smiled.
'Let's accept what god gives us, if he gives us a junior Rishu first, we can plan for a junior Madhu after some time.' He winked. It made Madhu blush.
'By the way Madhu. Let us name our daughter 'Pari'
'Pari?' 'It's a cute name Rishabh. But why specifically?'
'Because she will be a little angel in our lives. Our little princess.' Rishabh smiled. Madhu's eyes were filled with happy tears.
They resumed their romantic & passionate love making session inside the car weaving dreams about their future.
