Raman at times behaves with Ishita like she is his servant. You can overlook it for once and twice but not every time. On the contrary Ishita hardly ever tries to behave like a wife. Whenever Raman has gifted her something, she happily gifted them back to others; most of the times to her saut Shagun. It is clear from her deeds that she's happy and content being a mother and a daughter in law only.
Even when it comes to intimacy, it's pretty evident that they are nowhere deserved to be called a couple. Raman initially wanted to get close to her but later backed off due to Ishita's unknown hesitancy. Later he again wanted to get intimate with her but this time he wanted it to try for a baby! Ishita seemed reluctant as before without much thought. Next their daughter Ruhi wanted a little sibling for her own and informed Ishita about her wish. Instead of trying to reason her little daughter, Ishita encouraged her! Not only that, she followed her advice and went to visit a fertility specialist even before getting physically intimate with her husband! What is weird that the reluctant Ishita is now completely gone and many people termed Ishita's hesitancy as her insecurities but Ishita's current behavior suggests that the much discussed insecurities never existed in the first place. Or one wish of Ruhi for a baby is enough Ishita to get rid of her insecurities whereas Raman's same wish failed to register a single change in Ishita. Now Ishita too is all excited to get physically intimate with Raman. Why? Because without having sex ( in no way I will call it love making), they can't have a baby. Since Ruhi's wish Ishita's command, she will get physically intimate with Raman for Ruhi's happiness.
