Yup. From a business point of view it makes sense to increase prices.
Honestly though ticket prices are too high in India. It has gotten very expensive. I've had to paid 1000 - 2000 Rs just to watch a movie, but there is always other options, if one does not want to pay that much like some of the smaller theatres. I am not really familiar with it, so don't know if they raise prices in those theatres too, which they should, but multiplex is definitely very expensive. I've no problem paying more for a movie, but hate it when the same superstars act like brats.
