Previous 2 serial BRC and Star MB mess up with Draupadi's character. They show Draupadi a little bit arrogant. I am expecting this also from this serial to shine Karna more. But in the epic Dharmraj Yudhistir declare Draupadi as no fault in her other than partiality towards Arjun which causes her to die. Draupadi is a lady of her own opinion. Nothing more.

About Karna he don't have time for thinking any other thing other than competency against Arjun.

Well you can imagine/expect some good scene between Karna and Draupadi like Karna save Draupadi when pandav is no nearby. If Lord Krishna can think of Karna and Draupadi together why can't you?

@Bold - Kunti is his biological mother. I know this is too much natakiya rupantar in the serial, but Karna Kunti is better than Karna Draupadi I think. And we all know how much SId T loved Kunti. (I love him for that!!!)
@RED- I don't agree with Yudhi's comment. I don't understand how can it be Draupadi's flaw to love Arjun more? She WASN'T supposed to be married to five! She had no choice so she had to. Yes I feel she should have spoken but its also true that she had no choice other than doing what Yudhi said. It was Yudhishthir and unintentionally/interntionally Kunti's fault for Draupadi division. Partly Arjuna's too. But then you yourself are not punished for diving a woman just like that, and how wonderfully he blames Draupadi for being partial! Plain hypocrisy.

The biggest problem with showing anything on TV that isn't in canon is the impact of TV on public psyche. It is more widespread than any other media. If it is shown again and again it is accepted as fact and whether it is written in the actual epic becomes irrelevant. It happened with the "Andhe ka putr.." comment which does not find place in any authentic translation but is still believed by people to be fact because it was shown by BRC. This is how misconceptions are born.

@Red- I think it was about LOVING Arjuna more...that's the flaw Yudhishthir said. I believe Swargarohana was an interpolation. Because it makes no sense to me. I don't believe that as I believe all characters of MB were human with imperfections.

If you see my earlier posts, you will notice I am not a big fan of the Pandavas. In fact the only thing that puts them in the right and DDSK in the wrong is Panchali's presence.

Did you know, in Kamyaka vana Panchali says the wife is called Jaya? Vyasa called his work JAYA.

Like IB, I tend to.opine that Vyasa took Panchali as the hero and wrote the epic around her

Wife actually means or Jaaya and Vyasa called his epic Jaya or which means victory. It doesn't make a lot of difference in english script but it does in the devanagri script in which the MBh is written.
P.S here I'm not trying to diminish Paanchali's importance or implying that she was not the hero. Of course she was but she was one of the heroes IMO.
