😆 It is a popular FAN FICTION.

Even the authors of POI or Yagyaseni have admitted that they are FAN FICTION. Not a belief.

Saying you would have liked it better if they were together is different from saying either one was attracted to each other. She was not.😆

Karna and Panchali had nothing to do with each other till the DS and after that she spoke of him in the MOST DERISIVE terms.

She also repeatedly lumped Karna together with the likes of Shakuni and Dushy.

Hey, that gives me an idea. I am going to start a ShaLi thread😆. Cots and Shani, where are you you, my fellow Shakunis?😆

Just because two people are "desirable" does not mean that they should "desire" each other or even be attracted to each other. It wouldn't be wrong if these two were fictional characters but most people including me believe they are real people who actually lived and to them it seems wrong. Wouldn't it be wrong if someone stated that a married/committed woman or even man is attracted to some other person when there is no evidence to prove it? and how would you feel if someone wrote or showed that any of Karna's wives was attracted towards say Arjuna? and it would be much more forgivable since none of Karna's wives are mentioned by name in the epic according to my knowledge, which I admit is quite limited when it comes to Karna. Anyway I apologize if I have hurt anyone's feelings or broken any rules. These are just my reasons for not liking the pair.

You see. Emotional entanglements are an individual business. No one but the spouse(s) get to question each other on it. Certainly not fans 5K years from their lives 😆

If they actually showed signs of attraction, the discussion would make sense, regardless of the offense taken by supporters of the spouse. Say, Indra-Ahalya. Or Tara-Shani. Heck, even Dury-Subhi makes more sense than KaLi as they were supposedly engaged before Arjun kidnapped her😆

My question is this.

1) KaLi hardly met

2) If we go by the popular version, she REJECTED him categorically

3) If we go by CE, he didn't even participate.

4) In the DS, he instigated the ASSAULT on her

5) She held him in contempt as is evidenced by her calling him along with others, 'a little man'

6) She repeatedly urged her best buddy to kill him

How on earth do some people read ATTRACTION into this scenario?😲😆

@Crazyphoenix Arjun had no grounds to complain or feel hurt after his inaction during DS. In fact Panchali herself taunts him about this during Keechak

Frankly, he lost any right to complain as soon as he agreed to hand her over to Yudhi.

Well according to me I don't think we should worry about Draupadi's characterization because SidT was the one who gave us the Draupadi mahamovie on star plus, no other character got any movie on them so I think even Sid likes Draupadi,so he won't do injustice to her character.

You have to read in between the lines and make up whatever stuff you can Anu, duh.

1) Draupadi is a lady, Karna is a man - opposites attract. Who cares if they didn't meet, they saw each other when they looked at the sun / fire.

2) She rejected to MARRY him because love between lovers is far greater than love between married couples. She married Arjun because she WASN'T attracted to him.

3) Or did he? No he didn't. Or did he? No seriously he didn't.

4) But maybe she wanted to show her ... no. I refuse to complete that statement. That's just stupid, insulting, and offending.

5) That was just a disguise so no one gets wind of their deep deep love.

6) How else was she supposed to bring up the convo of the enemy that she loves

Disclaimer: Yes I'm being sarcastic. No I am not supporting KaLi. Yes I am a Drau fan. No, you cannot use my statements as fact.
