you feel jannat's ott acts brings trps 😲 😆

then why did trps fall during fakistan track 😕 😛

Anyways anything said about sj's acting is not to hurt fans
It is done so that the cvs who stock our forum get an idea of what IF members feel of the scenes and track
so we do it so that the director can work upon sj scenes as jannat
jannat is not sj and to be honest jannat is the dumbest lead chara i have ever seen ...i still get confused in her scenes as to what she wants(jannat not sj)

It is a director's job to bring out a charactrr from an actor and director is terribky failing here
even vt is critisised and characters are also critisised coz its an open forum

Dont feel bad . Actors may sometime not able to deliver accd to the character's demand but then the characters are cvs's imagunation so it is they who shud take notice of the particular character's performance

Those who critisise are the ones who also appreciate the same...so no need to target any IF grp

hope my reply helps your thinking

Why is there two topics made on this?
Copying and pasting same I wrote in your duplicate topic.

Take a look at how the screen space broke down and who were the actors (not in the thespian sense) and who were the reactors. Whose perspective and who are the checker pieces.
It only shifted otherwise this week.

PS. people who criticized did say slap would bring in trps. And I myself already said this is the only way they think they are capable of making Jannat accepted. So, no, those who criticized her were still on the mark. :)

Adding to this, have you seen OTT accusations in the last handful of episodes? Because it's been toned down. I think last time she was criticized as OTT was in Jungle itself.

I think it is due to the criticism that Jannat has been toned down so that we can enjoy her scenes and appreciate SJ! Which was certainly done yesterday! Many forum members appreciated her in yesterday's episode. Yes, there is a fine line between criticism and bashing but as far as I know, its Jannat who was criticized not SJ! In fact, I commend her for attempting to play Jannat who is certainly not a well written character! But she def tried! Now I think slowly Sanam is emerging from within her and I personally love Sanam! Cant wait for her to be back!

And nope, people did not enjoy her OTT, in fact last week there was many glimpses of Sanam and Jannat was pretty toned down! Anyway each to their own, this is just my opinion on it lol

true Esha. the toning down of Jannat's behavior and those insights into her thought processes and her noticing and thinking about Aahil has made a lot of difference.
And though, I would have preffered if some of the characters stop speaking so highly of Shady(for ex SK-- I mean he is a lousy army guy..and still she is scared of him..😕😆) the lesser focus on him has helped.

^^ And weren't we the ones the ones who kept saying over and over to show something more substantial from Jannat's side other than superficial Joda and just simply remembering things like castor oil and stitching sizes?
Isn't that somewhat of what we are seeing now this week?

true... and dare I say openly that a little bit of distancing from Shad has happened on the touchy felly side😉😆
Sure Jannat is still going all touchy, but I still cringe a lot less. She certainly not a complete victim . We shall just have to accept that a certain character's villainification won't happen (the way we would like to) and thus it gives me a better perspective.
the woman he objectified all this time has finally objectified him. I am onto a very risqu thinking and won't write everything on my mind.
so the little bit of him being used if only to bother Aahil.. is OK.
though she is still not my Sanam. She would never do this immoral act. But I've reconciled with this being a diff character sketch.
And I am even onto the path of wasting some cyber stationery on an OS😆

The TRP didn't go up coz of Jannat's OTT acts, but because she is finally reflecting! Yes the slap probably brought in more viewers as it is "shock value". That always sells! They did promote it quite a lot! The previous week was filled with a lot of good scenes and also Sanam2 vamp drama and SK stuff as well. So looks like things balanced out!

But the most important fact in bringing TRP is that the story is finally starting to move a little, and Jannat is fully aware of Aahil and falling under his spell. Even her PDA with Shaad is all to "show" Aahil and not just "regular PDA". So people are probably able to feel less put off by it! Also, point to note, even with Bashan's Jannat is slightly more self aware now! The thing we ALL here were saying for weeks. We want her to "think" and not just act like someone else's puppet! Finally that is happening. This was never about SJ's acting for me, but how weak Jannat's character is written. If all they give her to do is OTT scenes, then she is not the one at fault. But finally they are giving her more to do! And it's paying off!

Also, the TRP is increased, coz the story is focused on Sanam and Aahil, and all the others are only forming part of it! Special shout out to Aahil for looking hot! :) Jealousy drama always sells! Aahil looks hot jealous! Lol
