I live in a place where only big films of top actors and actresses releases, so here during a year not more than 10-15 films releases but in US, London, Dubai, India and I guess other places the situation is very different where more than 100 bollywood films releases.
I always wonder how many films do you watch in cinema?

the ticket for a bollywood film here costs 20 dollars so of course I am choosy and tbh 20 dollarsfor just 1 film is definitely not worth it also now really good quality print of the films are out on net in the first weekend it self so if I want to watch a film then I watch it online.

I only go to cinema if the action and songs are so grand that it is worth to be watched on the silver screen or if the film got a fantastic screenplay like English Vinglish. But such films rarely gets made in Bollywood so I mostly watch only 1-3 films every year in cinema.

And when you go to cinema do you take your family with you?

There is a cinema right beside my house and rates are govt controlled so we dont have ticket prices hiked on weekends or for big films. So I go for almost every movie I am interested in ie if I like the trailer or if its SRK's films.

When I was a kid, I used to watch almost every movie in the theater including the flop movies, but since last few years the number has come down drastically, I started getting very choosy 😆 This year, however, I have watched a fair number movies in the hall because it was very convinient for me somehow. 😆

So yes, more than the quality of movies every year, it's about convenience...😆
