ABCD 2 To Open Well Especially Mumbai And South

ABCD 2 should be able to put up a good showing on day one as some circuits are likely to open very well. Dance films have a solid market in Maharashtra, South and Bengal. There have not been many dance films in India probably because they do perform well all over.

The trend was similar with ABCD - Any Body Can Dance which did well in Maharashtra and South but not so well in other circuits. In the 80's the successful dance films like Disco Dancer and Dance Dance did more business in small circuits like Nizam and Mysore than a big circuit like Delhi/UP.

The opening in places like Delhi/UP, East Punjab, Rajasthan and Bihar will be dependent on star power. If Delhi city and East Punjab were to go to 1.25 crore nett on day one it would mean the emergence of another young box office star after Ranbir Kapoor as the film will be doing these numbers due to Varun Dhawan rather than the content which holds little appeal in these circuits.

IT could have easily but Ramadan is there. Silly though to release a movie that relies on lil star power the leads have especially Varun coz music wasn't the level of EV nor it seems to have strong content. Dance though can be one thing that will take collections high. ABCD released with Special 26 yet was a huge success. Made around 50cr

Isnt the music a success? The Sun Saathiya song is a big hit. I really loved the whole album. The dialouge portions look meh.

Varun is turning out to be a Ramadan period specialist, Even HSKD released during Ramadan and was a big hit.

True. I am sure the collections will do higher than HSKD which 75cr.

If opening is bigger than Gabbar then for sure they'd consider Varun as bankable star after Ranbir. But yes. Music has done WELL. As far as I know Sun Saathiya, Bezubaan, Aaw Happy Bday, Happy Hour & Naach Meri Jaan have done really well. But Galliyan and Banjaara was a rage last year. What benefit EV got was, it got a release 2 days before Ramadan started.

HSKD did - 75cr during Ramadan. BMB did 105cr with Ramadan. So I have hopes. Haha. But ABCD 2 has 3 open weeks. Anything is possible. Hoping the WOM is good as first or much better even

It will do very well at the box office⭐️Music is huge hit around me ...Every second person is playing the songs😛...Even tough it's story might not be good but dancing and music will save it...I'll watch it only because of dance😊

It will surely touch 100 crore mark

I'm dragging a few friends to watch this for tomorrow midnight show 🥳 all of them is not a huge Bollywood movie buff but when I show them the trailer they got excited to watch this more than me 😆

Varun seems to be doing really good recently.

Its funny how people think Ranbir and Ranveer are bigger stars in the younger lot but he will most probably have a more successful run this year with Dilwale releasing in the end of the year which will definitely do better than both Tamasha and BM.
