It was Mani Ratnam's wife who announced it in an interview first. Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu had confirmed it too. It was later at Cannes that Ash spoke about it.

Anyways, the film was put in the backburner due to budget issues.. So he made a small film in between.

AND how do you know if Ash is in this Sujoy movie or not? Even if she isn't, Aish said Sujoy was among the directors she has given her nod to, their film can take off later too. Her dates are full till early next year anyways with Jazbaa, Sarabjit and ADHM.

Yeah they have also written several other blinds about them. I really wonder why they have been against them since the start, properly fox refused to do interviews with them but I agree with BOI here that Fox has become a big joke.
