A Story ...Filled With Love
Kuchh reshmee hai
Kuchh khurduraa
Abhi beh chalaa
Abhi hai rukaa
Haathon mein hai ret saa issaq teraa
"Arnav ji!!"
Arnav was on his cell when he heard her sweet voice calling him. He turned to see her standing on the other side of the narrow river and waving her hand at him. He smiled and waved back. His Nani has tied him to a 18 year old child-woman , who enjoys life to the fullest, smiles at the smallest of things, gets excited even at seeing a small packet of channa. She flutters from one place to other like a beautiful butterfly, filling everyone's life, who comes across her, with color and happiness. And he is falling hard for this implausibly innocent and beautiful girl with each passing day.
Us paar tu hai, is paar main
Lagtaa hai doobungaa is baar main
Jaane kahaan hai le chalaa, issaq teraa
Saare jahaan se hai judaa issaq teraa
Issaq teraa
Today was Sunday, and she wanted to go for a picnic. Its just been Six months to their marriage, and he has already lost count on how many places they have visited in this short span. Sometimes parks, sometimes museums, sometimes hills, sometimes just a walk...Now his Sunday is nothing like before. Not only Sunday, now nothing is like before. His quiet days are replaced by her nonstop chatter, his dull life is replaced by color of her selfless love, his lifeless Mansion is filled with her musical laughter and joy.
As he saw, she jumped in the water, the water reaching till her ankle. Giggling at the tickling feel of the running water under her feet, she crossed the river to reach him.
"Arnav ji, humne aapke liye ye dhoonda"(Arnav ji, I found this for you..) She forwarded a pink oxalis, her eyes shining with glee.
Arnav took the flower from her hand and leaned to drop a kiss on her cheek. "Thank you, Khushi ..."
Khushi blushed, lowering her eyes. The way he looks at her makes her feel so special. She lifted her eyes to look at him."Hum aapse bohot bohot bohot pyaar karte hai , Arnav ji .."(I love you so so so so so much, Arnav ji ..)
Arnav chuckled as she widened her arms to show how much she loves him. Holding her by her waist, he picked her off her feet and looked into her eyes. "Really?"
Khushi shuddered as his hot breath and husky voice washed over her face. But still she managed to nod. "Ji , bohot ..."
Arnav stared at her sweet face. He knows she loves him. Not only loves, it seems like her whole world revolves around him. He wasn't ready for this marriage, but he gave in. Not for his Nani, but for the little girl who loves him since forever. He had visited his Nani's friend's house in Lucknow when he was 18, along with his Nani. And soon after they had returned back to Delhi, his Nani had received a parcel. The parcel had a photo of a beautiful 10 year old girl, wearing a beautiful white frock, and a beautiful smile on her lips. Along with the pic was attached a small note, telling his Nani to not get him married to any other woman as now she loves her Grandson and will marry him soon. He and his Nani had had a great laugh at the cute antic of this girl. His Nani had called her friend, telling her about her granddaughter's antic. And in return her friend had shared yet another escapade of Khushi. Khushi had cried till she had forced her Mother to take her words back, who apparently had told her that she is too young for him and he is too old for her. And also had refused to have anything till her parcel along with her note was posted. And then the coming years was followed by her craziness for him.
He smiled remembering all her craziness. The craziness through which she had made her place in his life and heart.
"Aap bhi humse pyaar karte hai na?" (You too love me, don't you?)
Her words brought him back from his thoughts. He looked at her. Putting her down, he cupped her face, staring in her lovely eyes.
Tu meray, main teray saamne jab talak
Ye zameen ye falak khoobsoorat lagay
Kisht mein hai milee aaj kee ye khushi
Gin rakhe hain magar kal ke lamhe sabhee
Kuchh der tujh ko bhi tak loongaa main
Palkon ke taaron mein rakh loongaa main
Hai subah ke khwaab saa issaq teraa..
"Yes ... I do love you ..." He confessed.
Khushi smiled broadly. "Why? Why you love me?" She asked, not content with just his one line confession.
Arnav tucked a strand behind her ear, and bent down, whispering near her lips before placing his mouth on her sweet one. "Because you make my life beautiful Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada..."
