Honestly ever since the Nagas have entered I've enjoyed every episode, but today was one of the first episodes I watched on fast forward again. I didn't get the sudden change in behaviour from Bhairavi's side. Suddenly she became so violent. Wasn't she the one who said that the Garudas have to work together? Then why is suddenly operating like this?

Another thing that bothers me is that suddenly the other Garudas have been sidelined. Charles and Kathryn had a story of their own going and now that story has completely disappeared. When we see these 2 it's like they never refuted the fact that they were Garudas and never had a story of their own. Where's the funny, witty, intelligent, street smart Charles? He would never be beaten like that by Bhairavi. Where's the strong, confident, alluring, mysterious Kathryn? She would have stood up and never let a small knock like that bother her. Also why is it that suddenly Prof Rao appears when they all meet Rudra, but he isn't in the scene when they're being beaten up by Bhairavi.

Leela has suddenly become another submissive woman who accepts things at face value. I liked the Leela who kept Dansh around her finger and knew her way in a world ruled by the men. This one accepts everything Dansh says and then keeps trying to be part of a mission without even thinking once about what she's doing.

The other thing that's bothering me is that we're into episode 79 tomorrow. We have 40 episodes left. And still there's no coordination between the Garudas. There's no sign of the Amrit. And there's no sign of the big battle that's supposed to be played out in lieu of getting the Amrit.

Another question that has been bothering me for quite some time now relates to Poland. Where is that priest head? Why is Greyson suddenly shown so less and is like a helper more than a leader? The Greyson I saw in the beginning had plans, he had answers, he had ideas, he had questions, he had means, but now this Greyson is suddenly helpless and willingly does anything for anyone.

Now let's move on to Maya. For the past week and some she's been completely missing. Ever since the family got killed, they've stopped showing Maya completely. What happened to her? Is she still bedridden? Whose taking care of her? Where is she? What's the status on the antidote that Prof Rao had apparently gone to get?

I also have issues with Rudra's certain hridya parvitarn but let's leave that because I have no strength to write the multitude of questions here that stem from his sudden change and instead I've decided that it's best to accept those changes and move on because else I might just end up watching this show just to write down questions instead of to understand and enjoy the intricacies.

Honestly more than anything I'm having more questions than answers in the show now. Do feel free to share your questions or answers if you have any. Let's see where this show takes us next.

Thank you so much for making this post.

You have put down questions that have been bothering me too.

The writing by not addressing these issues has really let us down.

I think the problem is that our writers are experts in saas bahu sagas that they are writing this also with the same sensibilities.

To write a thriller that is rooted in mythology needs a kind of specialization that probably is still in nacent stage for Indian Telly.

But the result of that is that 2/3 rd of the story is over and the Garuda team is still running around like a headless chicken.

I don't think the writers have lost it, they are doing it quite ok only. Garuds have to overcome their emotions, their conscience. By that it doesn't mean they have to heartless, but then the emotions which Nagas are playing with and the Garuds succumbing is a war in itself. It's a mental warfare. Once the Garuds overcome their emotional weakness there is nothing else to show. Garuds overcoming their emotional weakness is the largest part of the war.

If you take Mahabharth, the turning point of Kurushetra war was 14th day. The importance of it. Illusion lifting or Krishna Leela in the form of Maya brings Arjun to the verge of death and at the right time when enemy has completely opened up removes the illusion or Maya. After that the war was wrapped up in 4 days. Because post that Pandavas learnt to use their dimaag also in addition to dil. Till then it was dragging, dragging Dharma Yudh when the other side was only doing Adharm.

Here the turning point has to be Rudra understanding Leela and Dansh understanding Maya.

War has actually started with Nagas attacking the Garuds in their weakest post, whereas Garuds have no clue on the Naga strength or weakness.

But Bairavi has. Hence she is taking harsh steps.

I am really disappointed with last nights episode and the shaby way in which the wonderful characters are being treated.

I have always liked such shows following a Mytho theme genuinely. But since last 2 weeks I am loosing interest.
The basic concept is strong but the execution is quite slow. A thriller is made like a daily saas bahu soap, where Sivananad is bahu, Greirson, Balivesh being torturing in-laws, with Dansh being the latest torturing saas. Bahu recovers for some times again to get attacked soon. Rudra being protagonist is governed mainly by emotions.
It airs 4 days a week is another reason for loosing viewer's interest. 3 days is a long gap. If past week is not interesting viewers many just prefer to surfing channels instead of sticking to MK during the time it's shown.

@Meena I always say a thriller is best when it is an episodic, or max runs for a month. I mean in a series you can take new stories and show for say 5-6 months. Reason being in a long drawn thriller there is a phase where the script whispers more, but to ensure the viewers don't get an idea of what lies ahead shouts a lot of other things which causes the frustration. Especially the part where the lead runs high on emotions and make one blunder after blunder.

Though it is a war and torture is expected, they can lessen out the torture and some of it can be implied. Because viewer's cannot watch this emotional Rudra once again for long, they want some victory for good side to stick to the show.

Like you I am also a big fan of mytho thrillers or shall I say thriller is my favourite genre whether it is books, movies or shows.

Arshics I'll comment here on your post and say that you're absolutely true in every matter. What has gotten into the heads of our writers is another matter of its own, but what I don't understand is why Arvind Babbal isn't saying anything. When he first started this show he promised it to be a roller coaster ride with ups and downs in a mytho background. I see the mytho background and I accept it, but more than the ups, I only see downs. This is like a roller coaster that is suddenly being swallowed by the ground slowly. There's no, it's only going deeper and deeper into the Earth.

The characters that had been developed up to now have been thrown out the window.

Sense and sensibility has been thrown out the window.

All that remains is the supposed saas-bahu relationships that it seems our writers are masters at. And I did not tune into this show to see this.

I really like finite series because they usually have a tight storyline, fast-paced storytelling, and well-developed characters, but of all the finite series I've watched in the past 2 years, I've been disappointed half the time and Mahakumbh is now making that half more closer to 60%.

I've never been as uninterested in watching this show as I am now. Because I'm tired of seeing mutilation after mutilation. The only thing the writers have gotten right is Dansh's character. He's as is from the beginning and hopefully by the time they end his character he stays as is. Because else it'll be just sad.

Most of the time writers have done' Andhere me Teer chalana' type writing. They just throw a situation and leave it to the viewers to understand it. 😉

Till now there is no clarification of many a things on or off screen by the MK team.

The contribution of members on the forum is as per individual interpretation of the episode. Till to date we dont know what philosophy MK team wants to show in the Show.

It has failed in entertainment and philosophy BOTH😡. Under the pretext of Thriller its a Patience Killer.😉

Its becoming 'Chinese Whispers' for me. 😳
