Aamir is always full of praises for himself one way or the other 😆

Aamir did DHKMN with Bhatt in 1991, which was a breather for him, a hit, which film he refused then??

His first film was holi

Well's he's right in that some of his earlier films are pretty bad. But Dil was as great movie for it's time as was Raja Hindustani years later. DHKMN and Rangeela I feel are movies that can easily be made now, provided the script is adapted to 2015. And obviously his script sense wasn't always impeccable as he also did Mela after Rangeela and Raja Hindustani 😲.


Going semi off topic, anyone know why he had the falling out with Mahesh Bhatt? It was obviously years later as he did do DHKMH and HHRPK with him in the 90s.

Do check out HHRPK which has screenplay credits for Aamir Khan, the problem was started on this film between them.It escalated on Ghulam sets. Mahesh Bhatt had completely lost interest in directing movies at that point of time, he would eventually quit after few films from then. So Aamir was not happy with that and asked him to step aside. That's how Vikram Bhatt became director. Of course many say it was Aamir himself who ghost directed it. The film did okay overall (was very good in Mumbai) which is why Mahesh Bhatt makes sarcastic comments on Aamir time and again. He feels even with him directing with no interest, it could have done same business.
